Chasing deathrun 5 starsThis was the third in the series and based on the ending I think it is the final book at least for Mila s arc of how she learns who she is at the heart of a prophecy and what that means for the rest of her life However it ends in such a way that I think the author could easily add new trilogies about either Mila s next phase of life or about some of the other characters If she does I would absolutely love to read them The first stories I read by this author were her superhero type stories about Mrs Invisible and they were fun but they were novellas so there wasn t as much room for character development and I also didn t like the characters nearly as much as in this series I then read a short story that was completely different from just about anything I ve read Demon Brew and that was complete bizarro land The Finn Brothers were next and I liked those although there were only two of those one of which was a novella This seems to be a spin off but the writing feels polished and I connected much to the main characters I was absolutely rooting for Mila and I really like how things ended for her Yes there was some bittersweetness there but it felt right and I really do hope the author is not finished with her I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from BookSirens All thoughts and opinions are my own 318 Wonderful story Three distinct factions on one side fighting against two of the factions on the other side Who will win in the end An engrossing plot to be sure Throw in a few curves to alter the possible outcome It was a book I couldn t put down.
