Thriller the dark triangle book The rest is historyThey d love for you to join the fun Website site_link site_link Group site_link site_link When beloved local businessman Samuel Murphy is brutally murdered it s up to his assistant Rachel Harris to make sure the sweet old man s final wishes are carried out Samuel wanted everything to go to his favorite nephew Lucas but the will is missing and Samuel s other family members descend like vultures ready to pick the carcass clean Rachel needs to fend off greedy relatives while trying to keep her promise to her boss all while a vicious killer is on the loose The Dark Triangle The Plantation 1 TO CALL THIS FAMILY VULTURES IS A SLAP IN THE FACE TO VULTURES AS EACH ONE WAS INTRODUCED I WONDERED HOW DID THEY HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL RELATIVE LIKE SAMUEL MURPHY THEY WERE VIPERS NOT VULTURES THIS REMINDED ME OF ONE OF THOSE OLD MOVIES THAT TOOK PLACE IN A BIG MANSION WITH A SCARY KILLER KILLING OFF PEOPLE WHEN I CHOSE THIS I DIDN T KNOW IT WASN T A STANDALONE SERIES AND WOULD CLIFF HANG YOU IN THE END HAD I KNOWN I D NEVER STARTED READING THIS DON T KNOW HOW MANY MORE BOOKS THERE WILL BE BUT I M OUT I PREFER A STANDALONE SERIES Thriller Mystery Suspense What a riveting and intriguing start to this new series by WL Knightly And as always with WL Knightly s books that cover is fabulous The story begins with the violent murder of prominent businessman and philanthropist Samuel Murphy in his own home The estate and wealth he leaves behind draw relatives out of the woodwork their only motivation being what they might gain in an inheritance Our protagonist Rachel who was Mr Murphy s nurse and assistant wants only to honor the wishes of her former boss Rachel looks to his favorite nephew Lucas to be her ally and confidant as they traverse the minefield that is Mr Murphy s sisters and their children Arguments ensue and insults are thrown showing these opportunists to be selfish greedy and despicable in ways that truly boggle the mind of any decent human being Once I started reading the book I had trouble putting it down The characters are wonderfully and realistically written and reading the contentious dialogue among the unsavory family members is fun and quite unpredictable I finished the book in one sitting and as I read the final chapter I was already thinking I couldn t wait for Book 2 Wow that ending Did not see it coming I m really loving this series so far I want to extend a huge thank you WL Knightly for gifting me the ARC of THE DARK TRIANGLE the first book in THE PLANTATION SERIES I appreciate you trusting me with an honest review It was a privilege to be able to read the novel before its release Thriller Mystery Suspense A mysterious midnight phone call bypassed security measures and family that make starving hyenas look civilized That sounds like the perfect setting for murder There s a feeling of the classic Clue boardgame about this book But I suspect that very few of the characters gathered under the roof of Fox Nettle are anywhere near as wholesome as that family game would imply And as we got to know about the living and the dead members of the Murphy clan the invested I became in discovering the truth My fingers are crossed that Rachel and Lucas will find the evidence they need to send the vultures packing before there s no one left standing. Mystery the dark triangle pdf I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author Thriller Mystery Suspense THE DARK TRIANGLE the Plantation series Book 1 by WL KnightlyWL Knightly has the strong start to yet another excellent series The Dark Triangle has murder intrigue deception suspense angst and plenty of twists Rachel is a nurse and the house manager for Samuel Murphy an elderly much beloved philanthropist member of the community When Samuel is murdered his family descends on the plantation Everyone has their own idea of who should get the plantation Rachel is the only one who knows what his plan was which was to give it to his nephew Lucas Whether the new signed will is hidden somewhere and has not been taken by the murderer is yet to be determined This is 5 stars Thriller Mystery Suspense i read this book as part of an arc program This is the first book in the Plantation Series In this book Rachel is a nurse who lives and cares for a businessman Samuel Murphy Everyone loved Samuel because he loved his community and often offered his home as a place for parties and fundraisers When Rachel returned after a vacation home to see her mother she learns someone murdered Samuel Samuel was expecting his nephew Lucas to visit and when he arrives he is shocked to learn of the murder Samuel s lawyer told them there is a new will somewhere in the house and Rachel and Lucas are determined to find it in the meantime Samuel s sisters arrive with their children acting like they own the house and have their own plans and they don t include the people who live there and cared for Samuel Rachel and Lucas are determined than ever to find the new will before it is too late I enjoyed this story i liked Rachel and Lucas I think they were really concerned with others and weren t as selfish as the sisters I am suspicious of everyone and look forward to reading Thriller Mystery Suspense
