Stalked by the jockables the author can write beautifully but this story was over written Romance Not for meI used to love Emma Bray books but the last few have just been a thesaurus full of pretty words used to gloss over how creepy they truly are Romance I love Emma s books but this one was trying way too hard to be poetic For such a short book it was so hard to follow along with and the plot just didn t make sense If you are used to Emma s usual writing and enjoy it as much as I do I would pass on this one Romance The storytelling was too poetic at least for me It made me lose a bit of interest in the beginning I don t think a novella should be this serious but what do I know Anyway it eventually grew on me It was still a good short read to pass some time Romance Don t know how to feelI love Emma Bray and her books but this one just wasn t for me Both main characters would have so many internal struggles and the plot wasn t even there for me The pace was all over the place And if you are used to spice here you will get none until the end It s basically inner turmoil they have closed door sex she finds out about the stalking he explains and then you re done Idk it wasn t for me Romance
