Brodie s story Vonda Sinclair Charming a Cursed Highlander by Vonda Sinclair is the second book in The Highlander Shifter series I have not read the first book in the series YET but I will definitely be going back and reading the first one too This book can be read as a standalone but like any novel by this author I highly recommend reading all of the books in the series because they open up a whole new world and you don t want to miss out on anything Vonda is an absolutely brilliant writer who captivates you from beginning to end I especially love this series because you get the best of both worlds I love a good Shifter romance but historical romances are my kryptonite Both of them together YES please The storyline in this book draws you in and keeps you interested It s written beautifully and you can feel the emotion of the characters The hero and heroine are likeable and I can t wait to hear Brodie s story I was definitely left wanting I wish it didn t have to end The only thing I felt the story was missing was conflict between Cat and MacPeter I felt like that part of the story was a little rushed It was well executed though considering how little interaction there really was between them Over all it was a really good read.
