The story plot was a good plot But it just didn t go anywhere It felt extremely rushed very flat and in some areas the sentences were repetitive Maisha we came a rogue to try and Escape her step brother Dennis who was obsessed with her She meets her fated Fletcher to watch nothing than to protect her It just felt like maybe this was a rough draft of what somebody wanted to write as a book it didn t really come together. The beta's rogue lustquant 5 Stars Maisha s mother left her fated mate to choose someone else Unfortunately for Maisha her new stepbrother Dennis looked at her in a way that was very uncomfortable to her and he warned off all the guys at school saying she was unavailable to date anyone and he ignored personal boundaries Since his parents let him get away with it he continued that behavior And when she graduated she left the pack and moved into an apartment Then Dennis showed up and moved into an apartment He was the future Alpha and felt he could do what he wanted So he told her he had rejected his fated mate and she was to become his mate When she turned 21 he tried to force her and she clawed him to get away broke ties with the pack and went rogue to escape Fletcher Beta of the Blue Moon pack hates Rogues who attack innocent people More and keep entering their boundaries It s Fletcher s mission to get rid of them His Alpha and best friend Tora has a pregnant mate Kesia and he encourages Fletcher to keep the Rogues away even if they need to be killed Keeping the captives in a basement dungeon with soundproof cells to make their death humane is a very strange practice and took my focus completely out of the story Fletcher s attitude is that he doesn t mind killing them because someone has to do it or it won t get done and he knows he will get the job done and won t worry about a thing it took 5 pages to tell us that over and over Therefore he claims he can kill effortlessly because it s the only thing that gets me through this since it is nobody else s job And he moves on to the last cell where he finds HIS MATE Then there are multiple pages where she says she knows this pack does NOT listen to rogues then wonders if she should plead her case and explain why she came on their lands or should she beg for mercy or question them why they don t find out why the trespasser became a rogue and she will probably die anyway because they do not care and might kill her etc So she says Why me Neither Fletcher nor Maisha know how to proceed as they scent their mate But before long her stepbrother arrives to threaten this pack with a war unless they return her to him so he can claim her. The Beta's Rogue lustmord bandcamp The writing style presents information to the reader in a tell don t show way that is not effective in allowing the readers to instead immerse themselves into the story through the action to make it feel real The multi page repetition becomes annoying we get the point move on It also lays out facts and then a paragraph later reverses what was just told to the reader Overall the story line itself has potential But it should have an editor go through it and fix some glaring issues E. The Beta's Rogue lustmord band H Wilson Changing the SystemMaisha turned rogue and is on the run from her crazy stepbrother When Fletcher finds her is his packs dungeon their story emerges This short fated mates story was fast paced but has some interesting moments It was an interesting read.
