Book Dear rosen I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review English 17 years Vi has spent wondering who her father was and if he loved her At sixteen she lost her mom and spent a year losing herself to grief Just after the year anniversary of losing her mother she finds her dad and has to tell him the love of his life is dead and she s his daughter He never knew and now both of them want nothing than to connect and make up for all the lost time They take Vi s mom s journal that recounts the week Vi s mom and dad met and go recreate the adventure Along the way their relationship grows and they both heal from the grief Vi also stumbles into her own romance on the same beach her mom fell in love at This is such a cute story and I love reading the diary entries along the way Some of the transitions between scenes were very abrupt and I wish I could have gotten but overall I fell in love with Vi and Jax This book is great at showing that everyone handles and processes grief differently but that everyone also needs support through it English I received this book as an arc but my review will be 100% honest and open about any faults and flaws.
