Planting Justin: gay historical romance By Jason Fronde

I don t think I ve ever read a romance book with a third person omniscient narrator but I have to say I wasn t a huge fan Besides that the dialogue was awkward the writing felt stilted and there were numerous grammatical errors There was also a lot of telling instead of showing but at 21 pages I m not going to fault it for that I don t know if the author was going for this but with all the garden euphemisms it read a bit like one of those cheesy pornos and made me laugh out loud several times One of my favorite parts was Justin announcing his impending orgasm by shouting he s ready to bloom If I were rating this based purely on enjoyment factor this would have been a 3 but realistically it s of a 2.
