Mr. right before my eyes pdf book 5Another sweet romance by Carly Greer I know I say it every time but Carly is wonderful at writing swoony moments This series has made me fall in love with the small island of Plume as well as its residents In this book we are introduced to recently divorced Lucy who bought a house on Plume online Lucy is looking to start her life over and chose the small island hoping to build a new life She hires a contractor Liam who we have been introduced to in book 2 Liam was one of the foster kids on Plume and is a bit guarded since he s always been burned on his past relationships When Lucy and Liam meet there is instant attraction but they both ignore it at first given the circumstances But the time they spend together thanks to the flowing and easy to read writing style I love the dual POV both Liam and Lucy have a voice and it is so great to read how different they are and how they feel about each other Lucy has been hurt but tries to make the best of her situation She has a sunny character smiles a lot and does sometimes things that made me laugh She wants to help and the scene with the paint falling all over the floor and the way she tries to get this sorted that s hilarious Liam is grumpy and does not trust anyone soon thanks to bad experiences in the past He is cautious I love their interactions and the building relationship between them They can t deny the growing attraction. Mr. right before my eyesquiz The town characters are great as well for instance former police chef Elmer He is a great older guy and has some pranks on his sleeve It was also nice to see other characters from the earlier two books make an appearance.
