The question of identity is a hot topic in our culture. Who are you people Who am I What is my purpose in life What does it mean to belong The answers to these basic questions help establish one s trajectory and worldview Tragically many people are receiving answers that are out of step with the Word of God NO NO The picture book celebrates that humanity is made in the IMAGE OF GOD We as humans have a CREATOR Not just a creator far distant aloof But a LOVING caring faithful Creator who sent his son his one and only Son his only begotten Son to die for us to atone for our sins to reconcile us with our Father in heaven The book provides a Christian biblical answer to the question who are you It also touches on how knowing who we are in Christ impacts how we should live Christina Fox Thank you to crosswaybooks for my gifted copy of this title in exchange for an honest review Who are you What really makes youyou What a timely and helpful resource this beautiful picture book is This book is full of gospel truth and teaches children that they are made in God s image and that if they have a relationship with Christ that their identity is first and foremost as His child I loved the way that the author provided different things that people often put their identity in even including feelings which I absolutely loved for today s age This book not only teaches children a right view of themselves and their identities it also really celebrates how incredible it is that humanity is made in the image of God our loving Creator At the end of the book you can find a helpful discussion guide for parents and caregivers love that Highly highly recommend this picture book Christina Fox Who are you This seemingly innocuous question is something that we all have to answer for ourselves at some point in our lives Many people try to define themselves with a title or description of the things they do or what they like This book teaches children the confidence of answering the questions of who am I by declaring I am a child of God This is a foundational truth that Bible believing parents attempt to instill in their children from a young age This book is a cute rhyming way to reinforce the concept that our identities are to be found in Christ I also appreciated the discussion points given to parents and caregivers at the end of the book Thanks to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review Christina Fox You can feel a lot of things it s true But what you feel is that what makes you you It answers the old age old question of who am I It is answered by God our creator I love this book and the simplicity it brings to a crazy world of social media political correction and fitting in It reminds that we are created for Him It is not only made for children but also for adults Lest we forget we all are children of God A book about giving children back their childhood. Who are you image A special thank you to Crossway Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review Christina Fox

Who Are You A Little Book about Your Big IdentityThis is an interesting little book that gives a brief outline of general identity Specifically the identity that we have as creatures made in the Image of God and the further identity that comes with conversion and faith While this book avoids the hard questions that our contemporary age is discussing I suppose in one sense that s fine I don t really need a children s book to get into the weeds there Still I suspect that s the discussion that won t be avoidable much longer Christina Fox This book will teach your children that their identity is rooted in their relationship with God It s easy to feel lost when the world assigns us our worth based on what we do or what people say In our world of identity confusion the message of being image bearers of God is incredibly important The illustrations by Daron Parton are colorful and fun showcasing the different ways God has made us I was able to use this book to specifically point my kids to Christ and how they can be God s child by trusting in him And our belonging to God is beautiful I received a media copy of Who Are You and this is my honest review Christina Fox A simple narrative about our identity as a child of God not determined by what we do our interests or feelings what others say etc but the text is very convoluted to read what makes you you is just awkward Christina Fox Christina Fox is a blogger at where she chronicles her faith journey She writes for a number of Christian ministries and publications including Desiring God and The Gospel Coalition She lives with her husband and two sons in sunny South Florida, Who do you do for a living A helpful section at the book s close is included for parents that provides practical tips for discipling their children[1]
