Gods of StoneThis has been an epic journey through ten books I love this journey and these characters Do yourself a favor and start at book one 424 gods of stoneI liked this book The characters were all great each with their individual personalities There was great banter and some pretty nice MM scenes The world building was pretty good I had a few great laughs throughout the book 424 This book picks up roughly 5 years after the last one It is the tenth book in the series it was a good book and the characters were really interesting I think the book would have made sense if I had read the rest of the series before hand After reading this book I will definitely be going back to read the rest of the series 424 This book is a polyamorous LGBTQ story We finally get to see Lena finally accept her new reality and her powers. Gods of stoneground Once again Crea Reitan has created a captivating mythological world where you never lose focus 424 We ve been waiting a while for this book but it s finally here and it s goooooood It took a while to get there but Lena is finally starting to accept her new reality and powers Her family is somewhat well established with the recent ish addition of Javi Same thing with Yndea who is finally happy again in her big family In this book we travel to the land of the gargoyles where an usurper has taken the throne and is driving the kingdom to ruin Enters the uhnupte trying to set the balance right again I think one of the most exciting things that happened I know I m not the only one who was waiting for this is that we finally have some kind of lead about Locke Bran is also a prominent character in this book which was nice 424 Gods of Stone is a LGBT polyamorous story and it is the tenth book in the Immortal Stream series This is the first book I have read in this series and I do fully intend to read the other books in this series as soon as possible. Kindle Gods of stoneberry I really enjoyed this story I was completely immersed in this world and I loved these characters I absolutely love Crea s writing style and her stories always capture me and this was no different I ate this book up and absolutely loved this 424 Gods of Stone Intricate Zeb wrapped an arm around my shoulders as I watched them roughhouse now with Aki cheering them on You re a good queen he said quietly his lips at my temple I know you don t see this and can t fathom it which I completely understand but you ve made Sam into an even better ruler of Hell You re kind and loving and beautiful You re very maternal which demons love to see Don t remain queen for Sam Yn If you do do so for Hell s demons Crea Reitan has created an intensely sophisticated world where research into mythological gods provides her with characters to blend and twist Emotions run high yet we learn that gods see things very differently than humans Watching these gods halflings dragons druids gargoyles and many other creatures build their own families is intriguing and tenuous Reitan gives us a work of heart in book 10 of her Immortal Stream Children of Gods series Gods of Stone 424 5 5 starsThis was a long awaited read of mine I m a huge fan of Crea and so I m part of her group and support her in any way I can Normally I don t read unfinished series But when there was a read announced at the end of last year for the Immortal Stream I was intrigued to start Especially when it was explained to me that each book was closed on itself and that I don t have to worry about any cliffys And the moment I started to read it I got obsessed As usual I couldn t hold back for the read along in the group and caught up with all the books quickly and then had to wait for this one But again it was over too soon Sadly the Immortal Stream doesn t perform so good which is why it became a passion project of the author and therefore it takes time until the next installments Logically I can understand it but of course I would love to see the series completed I asked Crea one time how many books are planned and she told me that she outlined 25 books We aren t even halfway through and Gods of Sin was planned for this year but it was cancelled because Crea Reitan s muse atm is into MM books I don t mind MM In fact I love it in books but I like it balanced So I usually don t read only MM content books I need to be in the mood for that which is rare in general So atm I just wait for the poly books of Crea I mean she already announced that she is not abandoning her poly RH books And maybe she is will get back into it too or at least it will balance itself out Because as I see it both MM and poly are a part of her Anyway Gods of Stone was amazing again It was plot heavy with less steam which was totally fine with me because I want to know and see The story picks up five years after Gods of Enoch So Javi and Aki are already 5 years old. Gods of stonejugbbq I loved those two as a new addition They are cute of course Further the other children grew up as well Meaning Nik and Savannah are on their way to being adults And that opens up some new developments Generally speaking the Immortal Stream is a really complex world and storyline which I totally love And you never really know what will happen And lots of connections and relationships between characters with twist and turns If I could I would move into that world and never leave Alas I can t do that. Gods of stonefish I m glad that Lena is finally coming to terms with her Monster god and is accepting her role and responsibility Sure she still has a long way to go and work on lots of things either Like her onama bonds are still an issue Which became pretty obvious here But she is working together with her Monster god and they talk That s progress Yndea s family is mostly fine Nik is dealing with his growing pains Savannah and her relationship to Zeb are another theme here tho nothing happens because she is still not an adult And Yn is still taking it slow with Harlow and Rebel I don t want to spoil it all But there will be some drama too As usual nothing is ever easy with Lena and Yndea s household In Gods of Stone as the name implies we meet some stone immortals Namely Gargoyles Lena and her circle have to deal with it I have to say I was a bit disappointed with it because for me the situation with the usurper and all were mostly in the background and ended pretty fast In a way that I didn t see much of because Lena freaked out zoned out and there was no direct confrontation with the usurper or a clear conclusion For example what about the wives Lunella came back yes But did Mary June healthy again Or what happened with Frant But of course I learned some things Like we have new development for Silas and hopefully finally a lead to Locke So I m hopeful that the situation will be addressed soon I love the connection between Erro and Morey and how he gets control about the deathnotes Tho that s not perfect yet but he is getting better and better I love that for him Not to forget Morey and Crevan are starting to reconnect Besides Morey s relationships with the kids in general I love to see how he lights up with them and is just happy And the special bond he has with Nik. Book Gods of stoneberry And a new development with the rogue demons It will be interesting what comes next Just unfortunate that I have to wait until next year probably But really I loved it so much Just sad that it ended so quickly again 424 If you need a break from reality then this series is one to immerse yourself in Its amazing what CR envisions and puts down in words Book 10 in the Children of the Gods is no different Exciting twists relationship connections and connections outside the bounds of normal romance genre Its a breath of fresh air I suggest that you dig into some of this series before jumping in here just to get a feel of the world and characters But you ll be captivated by CR s writing 424
