Book Mesmerized by Dragon officer holloway So when I encountered several shifters while running from a maniac it was just parr for the course The hot detective who saved me numerous times was clearly an alpha an alpha bear shifter What will he do when he realizes I m not just a shifter but that I have dragon lineage And what will happen when my past collides with my dangerous situation Author s This is a steamy stand alone romance with an HEA intended for 18 Mesmerized by Dragon Officer Dragon Heroes of Alaska 4 Celeste h a dragon shifter with newly discovered abilities wakes up injured and disoriented in a hospital after surviving a massacre finding comfort and support in bear shifter doctor Sawyer As Celeste recovers she discovers that the massacre was part of a larger sinister plot Her shifter abilities and the help of Gavin H a bear shifter detective with unique abilties and other shifters become crucial as she tries to uncover the truth and protect those she cares about Together Celeste and Gavin uncover dark secrets and confront powerful enemies all while deepening their connection and finding strength in each other as they protect their community Hot and steamy shifter romance exploring survival self discovery intrigue family unity and the power love amidst danger and adversity Mesmerized by Dragon Officer Dragon Heroes of Alaska 4 The story wasn t bad and i finished the story but it seemed to jump around I kept getting lost as to what was happening where we were and the names of the characters also changed That was disconnecting and therefore disconcerting The easy flow wasn t happening There was a prelude and it took me until almost the very last chapter of the book for me to figure out the connection to the rest of the book and about that same time H and h realized they were still in love There had been almost no signs of this before it was presented as a done deal It felt quite unexpected in fact As I mentioned not smooth There were also a few too many typos so a bit theediting would have been good For example Gavin was written Gain at one point only a letter missing but it still dragged me out of the story as I had to stop and think about it Mesmerized by Dragon Officer Dragon Heroes of Alaska 4 I have been waiting for this book since I first read about Gavin Ott His Grumpiness as I call him reminds me a lot of how grumpy my dad is I have loved him since then and have been waiting impatiently for this book for ages Or so it feels like lol Celeste and Gavin met in school and when Celeste s father came after her she turned to Gavin however worried that her father would kill him she left Many years later Gavin hasn t gotten over it hence the grumpiness It explains so much about his trust issues throughout the books I was a little confused over the title of the book because Gavin is a bear shifter and a detective He s been popping up dealing with shifter problems all over the East Coast and now he is in Alaska My heart broke for him and Celeste I felt really bad about the situation which is now worse in the book because a lot of stuff is hitting the fan now I was impressed with Celeste Adele and with her powers I want to know about the interim years other than what is shown from mostly other people s point of view in the books over the years I can t wait to find out what happens next.
