In 2004 the height of the HIV AIDS epidemic in Sub Saharan Africa Ian Roberts becomes associated with a budding megachurch in North Carolina As part of their building campaign they include funds to build an AIDS Hospice in a Black township in South Africa One Sunday Ian returns home from church and impulsively volunteers to travel to Africa to start a business that will create jobs and its profits will fund the operations of the Hospice Being a world traveler his philosophy of acceptance towards all people and their religions comes under attack by the clergy of his new church Pastor Anton Nkosi and Ian Roberts enter a symbiotic relationship teaching all involved in this Post Apartheid environment the meaning of love respect and for Ian Roberts a practical understanding of his religion and a deepened faith in God Ian and Anton.
