But give them their own stories and it s like it s a story made out of flash paper It ll be up in smoke in seconds Celeste Bronfman The art on this fluctuates but the story is fine I had a nice time reading this one I ve only recently found interest in Black Cat thanks to her appearance in a lot of events where she is such a fascinating character every time And after seeing her in the Spider Man 2 video game I try not to keep up with Spider Man comics unless I have to and I missed why and how MJ got her powers and honestly how they work There s so many questions I have about her gauntlet and how it works But I know that I really like her as a hero Celeste Bronfman I really enjoyed this one as the Black Cat is one of my favourite characters.

This time around It s another teamup with Black Cat There s an app out in the world that is blackmailing people to do allllll kinds of things Can the two of them find out who is behind it before innocents are hurt Sounds like an OK story right What if I told you the structure of the book was weak but the pieces making it were strong My biggest rant is directed at MJ s boyfriend Stupid He s forever going to be the Weasel to her Deadpool or Microchip to her Punisher He was a plot device that they couldn t get rid of and have no further use for Can t have her with Peter Fine Give a her significant other OF SUBSTANCE Hell I don t caremake her a Pride project and write a relationship story for her Every scene with him is just a reminder that the whole premise is on shakey ground at best. Both these characters suffer from backup character itis They re written so strong as secondary characters to the main hero I may be biased and it had lovely artwork even if the dreaded curse of the fill in Artist struck once again. I might even forgive Marvel for ripping off Jackpot s power set from my character Wild Card who I created in my teens I knew I should ve copyrighted him D Celeste Bronfman the only good thing to come out of this is mj and fel s team upthe negatives paul s continued existence and significance to mj is shit felicia s storyline though it shows vulnerability make her seem pathetic and unable to learn from her previous experiences mj s new persona tho not at all bad if we ignore the fact that they just don t know what to do to her character to separate her from peter amelia morrow if they want to give felicia a hot girlfriend as she rightfully deserves just bring back odessa drake Celeste Bronfman felt like a little bit of a rushed ending i wouldn t really say i was satisfied with amelia s end but overall a great series i hope we get of this duo soon Celeste Bronfman
