Kindle the parenting pact review Algo que me gust mucho fue que jam s dude que ambos amaron a sus ex parejas pero ambos estaban listos para seguir con sus vidas y volverse a enamorar sin hacer m s o menos su amor La transici n fue natural 258 This was a wonderful feel good romance Single parenting he falls first finding unexpected love again after loss this book takes you through all the feels while remaining a fun feel good romantic read 258 I m not typically a big fan of single parent romances but I really enjoyed this one Chris was absolutely dreamy Maddy was so relatable and the kids were awesome Not to mention getting to see Alex Grant and Annie again If you like single parents flirting moving on brothers and sweet romances I highly recommend this one 258 This was super sweet Chris was such an easy guy to root for and their kids are super adorable and fun I loved the goofy brother Alex too There s so many reasons to love this book I enjoyed it from start to finish 258 As much as I loved The Wedding Date Deal I loved this sequel even I don t know if it was the banter the what in the world moments that kids always provide or simply how adorable Maddie and Chris are but I loved this book And I m definitely looking forward to the next one 258 This story was so fun and entertaining I read it in one sitting staying up late to finish I couldn t stop until I reached the happily ever after Maddy and Chris both juggling children and jobs decide to help each other out with childcare Maddy is determined to remain strictly friends Chris has other ideas I enjoyed how the chapters alternated between the MC s POV The children were adorable and added so much to the story It reads perfectly as a standalone though it s technically book two in a series I definitely recommend this for fans of sweet romance 258 The Parenting Pact is the second novel in Jordan Millsaps Boyfriend in the Bargain series Although it could easily be read as a standalone I highly recommend grabbing the first book The Wedding Deal to get Grant and Annie s story Maddy has been raising her son alone since her husband s death Chris s wife passed away in an accident leaving him to raise their two children on his own Maddy is just starting her own business and she s quickly realizing that she might need some outside help with her son while she s getting her business off the ground Chris has a regular babysitter but she doesn t do overnights and he s just been offered a promotion that requires travelling But it turns out Maddy s son Rowan and Chris s son Seth have been good friends for a while When their parents finally meet at a school event the two quickly become friends and when they realize they re both struggling with childcare they come up with a deal Except not a deal because Chris doesn t like that word They come up with The Parenting Pact a pact that allows them to share childcare after school team up for nightly dinners and gives Chris s kids a place to stay overnight when he s away But there will be no falling in love Nope not at all If there s anything Maddy is sure of it s that she and Chris will only ever be friends It s really too bad that he s such a kind patient and all around great guy What you can expect He falls first Single parents Dual POV Love after loss Friends to This was such a fun easy read The author did a fantastic job of weaving the sensitive topics of grief and loss in alongside the light hearted rom com moments There were so many feelings in this book and I enjoyed every bit The tight family bonds were one of my favourite parts of the story I loved that it wasn t just limited to the main characters and their children but we also got to see a lot of Maddy s brothers as well And while I realize the story was about Maddy and Chris Olivia was hands down my favourite character She was fun spunky asked the questions nobody else dared ask and just made me want to give her a big hug Christ and Maddy were both fantastic parents and all around great characters Maddy was definitely frustrating for part of the book and Chris seemed to move just a little too quickly but in the end I really enjoyed both their characters All in all I loved this story and read it in less than 24 hours once I finally had time to start it properly I d give The Parenting Pact an easy 4. Pact time activities for parents and children Content loss of spouse single parenting lots of feelings adorable kids romance kisses only 258 Maddy and Chris sons are best friendsand something else they have in common is that they have both lost their spouses work is crazy and neither of them are looking for a serious relationship So as their lives gets busy and they get to know each they come up with a parent pact to help each other out with everyday parental responsibilities Thankfully Chris and Maddy s children get along really well and Olivia is just the most adorable little girl I love that Chris was very upfront about his feelings but didn t push Maddy to return them he was very patient with her Most concerns were very valid and I like that she allowed herself to work through her feelings When tragedy strikes it s literally Mandy s worse nightmare and she has to figured out if she s going to let fest run her life or not and I loved that Rowan was the one to help her get it together I loved all the side characters Maddy s brothers are protective funny and most importantly they are very supportive of her as she navigates life and finding love again or not We ve already read Grant book if you haven t you need to read book 1 so I really excited to hopefully read Alex story next 258 Maddy and Chris have both lost their spouses and neither of them are looking for a serious relationship But what would happen if their children are best friends and they enter into an agreement to help each other with childcare needs This was a cute second chance at romance story with lovable main characters Maddy and Chris that you are glad to see have a happy ending.
