Intriguing Premise This fantasy novel throws you into ancient Egypt filled with all sorts of fascinating creatures We re talking monstrous rufdiers think predators on steroids peaceful armier herbivores even dragons and unicorns The story follows Cowhatep a brave pharaoh who has to defend his city from these dangers and some pretty cunning human enemies too. The world building feels real with different regions and cities mentioned throughout the story You get a good sense of the vastness and diversity of this fantastical Egypt Cowhatep himself is a great protagonist a resourceful leader you can root for He s joined by a cool cast of companions like Maxbull and Leila who each bring their own skills and personalities to the table Even the villains like General Blu are interesting with their own motivations and plans. The plot is a nonstop thrill ride There are battles daring escapes secret missions and political intrigue galore It will keep you glued to the pages wanting to know what happens next Plus there s a layer of mystery and legend woven in with the magical amulet the icy prison holding a mysterious Lord and the prophecy of the Chosen One If you re a fan of fantasy with a healthy dose of mythology this book iis definitely worth checking out The well developed world exciting plot and relatable characters make this a captivating read Egyptian Legend Cowhatep review_by_author self_criticismWhen writing this engaging story I had few main ideas to interpretant. Those ideas being No humans they never existed Magic with its own laws and lore Anthropomorphic animals which have their own features special for their kind not just humans with animal heads I think all of those turned out well The world of Egyptian Legend Cowhatep is a place were Egypt and even the whole Africa were never a giant desert with some forests It s a tropical land full of jungles were only small deserts are present. A conflict between Herbivores Armiers and Predators Rufdiers might sound really classic and usual I can assure you that it is different They had peaceful time together learned how to live side by side But utopia is not possible until we have emotions and until we want to progress Many characters got involved in this war just because they were not in the right place at wrong time young pharaoh Cowhatep never wanted to fight but he decided that it s better to fight than to go with the flow princess Leila was still not sure about her place in this life but she must leave this thoughts aside Bluskan Blu Cabalier might ve never held a weapon in his reptilian hand but with time and circumstances he became a general of predator s army And whole story tells us about circumstances which we can t change But we can adapt to them and it s for our choice how to. I think this story is engaging And as a good sign not only I have this opinion Those people who used their time reading this story enjoyed it Some expressed to me personally This story is so cool BTW when is the sequel I hope this story finds its readers Sviatoslav Yemets author Egyptian Legend Cowhatep
