Jessi Jade is an amazing author I loved reading this book I couldn t put it down I was glued to it from start to finish The relationship between Jaxon and Claire is a beautiful one I could feel their love for each other from beginning to end I highly recommend this book. But it was not for me I liked the plot but the characters frustrated me at times with the miscommunication and kind of distracted me from the plot At first Jaxon came off as an a hole but as the book progressed I saw growth in him I like that he wasn t painted as off as being perfect even though he s a celebrity and we got to see some examples of his struggles I liked that Claire had real life struggles from her childhood that still has an effect on her to this day There was a side plot with her ex that I got at first but felt like it got a bit stretched out I had a feeling of what the twist might have been a little towards the middle with a person and I m glad that I was right about it Towards the end there was drama between Claire and another character that didn t get resolved we didn t get closure on them and I really wish we would have Surprise Baby for the Celebrity She is a strong and independent women and she doesn t hold back her thoughts He is a misunderstood actor who went thru something no one should go thru They both feel the pull but want to honor the rules that they set in place for the sake of his sister also her best friend He is worried about protecting her then anything else Yes they do cross the lines and a lot of things fall apart but they have each other I would love to know if things work out with his sister.
