It s the fact that the author can t make whole sentences Thoughts that start a sentence are not finished Half way through a long sentence the author loses sight of where the sentence was going and it s just not finished properly Often important words are either missing or extra words are in the sentence that do not belong in there This makes reading the book confusing and stops the flow in the reading as one as to go back because the brain tells you that the sentence is missing something or is not finished It s like starting a sentence with Neither but never coming to the nor At the end you just know something is missing The brain just won t let you move on I have received a free ARC and am happy to review this book Kindle Edition 4 Matt.

Book the other half of me book 4 Friends to Lovers Widower Single Dad GFY Camping TripThis storyline had so much potential but it just fell flat for me It had its enjoyable moments but most of it felt like it was missing depth in the characters There s tough topics in here but they aren t fully dealt with and they just kind of glossed over them Also I m probably pissed because I was not forewarned that there was cheating in this which is one of my biggest pet peeves I kid you not I almost DNF d it right there just annoyed it took so long into the book to get to that nugget of truth on both their sides of the story Matty and Chad had been friends for years and always took camping trips together Well one year in their early twenties they came home from college and went on one of their trips together Both men are dating someone at the time didn t freaking know that going in and these two end up hooking up Matty kind of has a freak out about what happened and knows that he can t be with the super straight Chad so he goes back to school and proposes to his girlfriend and stops talking to Chad Chad just kind of blocked it out of his memory bank and chalked it up to guys helping each other out sometimes He s missed his friend over the years and sometimes he remembers some of their night together not all of it This book has huge Bro vibes plus they say it non stop throughout the book Matty even calls it out at one point and tells Chad to stop calling him that Anyways ten years later after no contact with each other Chad is going through a divorce with his wife and stumbles onto a picture of his old friend on Facebook Chad pretty much had a loveless marriage so eh whatever Chad out of the blue decides to invite Matty to go camping again like they used to He thinks it can help him clear his head and Chad can regain that happy feeling he always had with Matty around Matty is in a crappy place of life since he is a single parent now after his wife s death his mom won t get off his case and his art isn t selling leaving him unable to pay the bills Matty wigs out because he still has feelings for Chad and he s not sure it s a good idea to go camping with him where they re alone together They of course get intimate again with each other and have a great time during their trip It s the going back home to the real world part that gets muddled Matty lays it all out on the table but Chad shuts down There s a lot to consider since Chad s wife wants to get back together and have a baby horrible idea btw and Matty s mom is unkind and he has to find a new place to stay since he s getting evicted Drama with a capital D Through a lot of thinking denial about what happened and how they truly feel and soul searching they have to find a way back to each other forever this time Matty s son is a bundle of joy and I love how he was so excited for his dad reconnecting with an old friend That boy loved Chad before he ever met him and it was sweet Besides the cheating aspects you run into some of the dialogue choices that made me snicker Phrasing such as The hardness of my stalk or my cum tube swelling Yup oh and they don t believe in lube apparently since it never came up once I don t know about you but for a supposed 8in for a first time with a man experience you might want some assistance there besides just rimming When they reunited Chad didn t even stretch him just spit in his hand and went for itOUCH I received a free copy of this book via GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
