Then you will love this book 268 it was good and very cute but i wasn t wooed and i ll probably forget this in a couple days the bonus scene though with Patrick that had me full on evil laughing 268 The caretaker is the third story within The Infidelity Series following Noon and Solace I can t physically put my love for Noon into words As soon as I was introduced to him in previous books I gravitated towards him and I ve been patiently impatiently awaiting for him to hopefully have a story and the only word I can honestly explain this book is breathtaking Those who have met Noon previously will know how much of an angel he is His character is beautiful.

And they are each others reason 268 I haven t read anything by this author but this grabbed me from the beginning and the next thing I knew I was half way through it I m not one for the amnesia troupe but this was really good and done the most realistic imo The hurt comfort was all there and I loved that The story told over two different timelines and two povs really brought this story together I was rooting for Noon and Solace the whole time and for Noon to regain his memories I m not a parent but the loss of Gavin felt so real to me and how Noon always included him in the present even though he was gone.

And completely moving I couldn t get enough of these two and loved getting to see their moments together woven so intricately within this story Overall The Caretaker is a moving romance that touches on so many heartfelt topics that are handled with patience and care I loved their story and felt it was the perfect finale for this series I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story 268 4 stars This was another angsty emotionally heavy story from CPH What was different about this book from the previous 2 was how incredibly sad and depressing it was at times I m now used to getting strong emotion.

5 Have we Have we met before No I d remember someone like you This series is one of the few series where every book in my eyes is completely worth 5 stars The author never fails to invoke all the emotions in me and touch my heart in such a way that the books become my comfort reads Every aspect of this book was handled so perfectly and written flawlessly The story built slowly and surely and I loved how Noon and Solace s journey blossomed It was full of grief and despair but also second chances and a chance at a better future ahead of them As with the previous books once I finished the book I instantly wished I could reread it again for the first time and experience it again Overall this was just another masterpiece from an author who absolutely never misses What To Expect MM Romance Cheating Amnesia Slowburn Hurt Comfort Second ChancesHow was I supposed to tell you what you meant to me when you were no longer you When the man I loved than life itself came back to me in love with someone else When he s still in love with someone else ARC provided in exchange for an honest review 268 You ll never be lost as long as I m around Noon I ll find you Always The Caretaker is a beautiful story encompassing second chances grief amnesia healing and a love so pure it will hurt your soul I usually go feral for the toxic men that C. The caretaker patience The story is told in alternating past present timelines following Noon and Solace as they fall in love twice finding their way to each other despite all odds Through Solace s eyes we experience the grief that initially bonded them the joy of finding each other and the hope for their future In the present day Noon s chapters follow him as he works to regain his memories finding himself in Solace s orbit once again and helpless to deny their underlying connection This juxtaposition between their two love stories cut me to the core and was so beautifully executed This book affected me on such a deep emotional level I can t even find the words to describe it I cried a grand total of five times which is so unlike me but I felt so connected with these characters that I couldn t help it There were times I was legitimately wailing like an injured animal for no other reason than I loved the way these characters loved each other Their relationship in both timelines is wholesome pure and the epitome of soulmates. The caretaker patience As well as swoony romance and trauma bonding Noon and Solace have an adorably playful relationship with lots of great banter There is some good spice in the second half of the book but much of it fades to black unlike the rest of the Infidelity series Even without the spice though I could feel the characters pull to each other throughout For such a short book I feel like this story encompassed so much and it was the perfect ending to the Infidelity series We get to see a little bit of the rest of the couples too and the found family vibes towards the end were perfect If you want a romance that hurts your soul and heals it in the same breath everything about him is mesmerising and his book just confirmed that further I didn t think it was possible to find someone who complimented Noons personality so much or to find someone who s impact me as much until I met Solace Their story is heart breaking heart healing powerful poetic and filled with so much love It was beautifully written with so much care and passion and it s definitely another one of my top reads Everything happens for a reason made me ugly cry Also the theme of Tears of Heaven by Eric Clapton The saddest song ever in history I am unwell FUCK CHEATERS Fuck you Patrick Fuck you stacey I didn t even read the bonus with Patrick because FUCK YOU But atlas this story was great and I ll definitely by checking out by this author There were some toxic codependency that I didn t know I was into As always some of my favorites Who takes care of the caretaker That night I dreamt of vinyl records and dancing in the snow I dreamt of Tears in Heaven And in between those dreams Solace s warm breath tickled against my ear as I imagined he whispered You once took care of me now it s my turn to take care of you Who were we if not theirs Who would we be once the rings came off You loved him I said gently With all of me He came into my life at a time when I had both feet off the ledge He caught me as I was falling And now what do you want A second chance he said now looking at me directly It doesn t need to be the same doesn t need to be exactly as it used to be I d settle for a second chance at loving him At being loved by him In fact it wouldn t be settling at all 268 We re at a full circle moment here I read the second book in series with my first ever buddy read with Lilly and now we re doing the third book after we ve done quite a few since then and I can t even remember how many we ve done since we ve done so many Possibly my favorite of this series And this is definitely Ms Harris most healthy couple all the way through too Cheating tag is not for the MC s cheating on each other of course The no cheating is for the fact they don t cheat on each other at all. The caretaker text pdf In our third and final I believe installment in the infidelity series we re focused on Noon Leland s best friend from the second book and Solace his love interest The last we saw Noon he was seemingly happily married but in this we find out that s not quite the case Unlike the first two it isn t Noon and Solace who cheat It s their married partners Patrick is Solace s husband and Stacey is Noon s wife who are fucking each other. The caretaker everywhere at the end of time So instead of being the cheaters they are the cheated on and end up commiserating together and fall in love because of that But there s a twist 3 months into their love affair Noon gets into a car wreck with who would have been his soon to be ex wife Stacey who dies in the crash and loses two years of memories and parts of his childhood is a little fuzzy as well So all Noon has is the memory of Stacey when they were happy and all he remembers is loving her not Solace But he can t help but have these flashes of sex with a blonde person he thinks is his wife they re back is to him so he doesn t see that it s not a woman in these flashes of memory Also Solace has long blonde hair like Stacey did so that further confuses things and also feel an intense yearning to be with someone who he thinks is Stacey because she s all he remembers. Gay and lesbian the caretaker review But something makes him come to this small town in upstate New York even though he doesn t fully remember it And when he sees a man sitting on his own he gets this feeling even though he doesn t remember him but Noon is inexplicably drawn to him all the same Solace doesn t tell him who he is for awhile and acts like a stranger to Noon Which ends up actually being a good thing because over the next few weeks Noon falls for Solace all over again and Solace was worried that if Noon who he was and what they d shared right off the bat that he wouldn t know if Noon s feelings for him were real or what he thought he should feel because he knew he once did But Noon not knowing allows him to fall for Solace all over again with no confusion about if the feelings are real or not This time the only complication is Noon s confusion over him feeling so much for Solace when he thought this immense love he felt was for his wife These two had the best chemistry and they fell so seamlessly into love that even though they went fast it just made sense They made sense Also like all of C. The caretaker play P Harris couples they had such a deep immense love for each other almost an obsession and their passion was unmatched The sex scenes were especially spicy and sexy and passionate and loving especially with the fact that wellNoon is HUGE All over He s almost 7 fucking feet tall so you can imagine how huge his ahemappendage is and Solace loves to take ALL of it Also because Noon is so huge the size difference is delectable And Solace is no small man But he s a normal size and height so next to Noon he seems small haha Also just seeing these two get the happy ending they deserve with each other was wonderful to see I honestly felt no sympathy for Patrick or Stacey and they could just fuck off for all I cared We also see Patrick in the bonus scene on the author s website and I still didn t feel much sympathy for him Good riddance he better not get a book I don t want it Noon and Solace were just meant to be and were perfect for each other in every way Their HEA made me absolutely ecstatic. The caretaker trailer I guess the only thing I wanted was to get Noon remembering being in the car with Stacey and what they talked about maybe in flashes if not the whole thing Because Noon remembers some things here and there and at the end he remembers some important things between him and Solace from their 3 month relationship which just melted me into a puddle of good but not everything He never gets his full memories back So yeah maybe he didn t have to remember the whole thing but just snippets of their convo I would have loved seeing Noon shoot Stacey down and telling what s what But that wasn t a big deal and was not worth taking anything off my overall rating I also am greedy and because I loved these two so much I do wish we had gotten a bit of them but also their story as we got it worked so well I also didn t let it affect the overall rating I just wanted so much of these two because I loved them so much. The caretaker chichester This was the perfect installment to end this series with if it is ending I think it is as Noon and Solace were so perfect together I HIGHLY recommend this I absolutely can t wait for from this author whether it s fucked up and toxic or not I love ALL facets this author has so whatever she gives us next guys absolutely loving the hell out of this book It s just so emotional and beautiful and so different from the previous two that I couldn t believe it Some readers complained that it s not what they re used to expect from this author and I m sorry for them but it s exactly what I wanted from this author Its romantic and it has that sad melancholic air that I love so much There s less sex scenes not by much though and there isn t any heavy kink which is a rare thing in MM nowadays It s not always an easy read however because it deals with really heavy stuff that as a mothermade me tear up I can t even pretend to know Solace s pain and I cried so much for him and for what he lost He was an amazing character physically beautiful with his long hair and his androgynousdelicate look and also kind mild mannered and so loving As for Noon I didn t remember who he was so I had to browse a bit the previous book to refresh my memory I can t say it left me a strong impression there but for sure he impressed me here Gah I LOVED them The book is all about them as there aren t many characters in the book so all we have is their story for most of the book alternating between past and present the past is from Solace s POV and the present from Noon s and that was lucky because if it weren t for the change in the POV it would have been very easy to get confused between timelines. The caretaker character analysis pdf I won t say much just that it s a beautiful book It s not perfect and not a masterpiece for sure the guys are sometimes so melodramatic with their need to smash things when in pain or screaming on their knees in the snow some scenes were downright tele novelistic Or when Solace kept saying that Noon s dingaling was soooo big and that Patrick wasn t even half as big Ummm let s say Noon was 9 inches I REALLY don t think Patrick was less than 4. Book the keeper of lost things 5 inches I refuse to think Stacy would have traded 9 inches for 4 inches But you know what This is one of those books where you re rolling your eyes hard on the outside but secretly swoon and tear up on the inside I also loved the humor here and there they were so cute and funny and kudos to the author for that epilogue Choosing to add a beautiful domestic epilogue is way way better that the cheap sex scene epilogue I wish I could say the same for the bonus scene but honestly I prefer to forget that it exists because it was cringe and I hated it Firstly and most importantly because I don t agree with what Solace s brother did to Patrick It s inhumane illegal and it was very much criminal He took away his livelihood Nobody should condone physical assault. The caretaker pinter I felt sick to the stomach reading that bonus scene The second reason is because that whole Patrick confrontation was childish cringe and didn t put Noon and Gavin in a positive light And the third reason I hated the bonus scene was because SOLACE CUT HIS HAIR I will never ever forgive this infamy So yeah this isn t exactly a literary gem and I don t think anyone expects it to be but it is a good romance book I enjoyed the hell out of it and I think a lot of ppl will too 268 I wanted to read this book because amnesia is one of favourite tropes It s what kept me reading for the most part but I didn t find it very satisfying There are two timelines then and now so we learn pretty quickly what is going on Noon doesn t know because he doesn t remember but we as readers do and it kind of kills the mystery Talking about timelines they felt very similar to me and I had to pay extra attention to what happens when between Noon and Solace It s like they live in a bubble away from the outside world comforting each other sleeping in each other s arms being co dependent drinking tea eating omelettes and s s and crying There s a lot of crying And taking photographs. The Caretaker contemporary dance The thing that absolutely didn t work for me is the writing style and the relationship development The writing is flowery and over the top and it s just not my thing Everything that Noon and Solace do or say is so intense desperate and exaggerated The intimate scenes were the same everything is desperate and earth shattering with a lot of grunting growling gritting I didn t like them at all and I found Noon s physical appearance and his dirty talk very off putting. The caretaker website The story is very heavy on grief and the author tried hard to make it very emotional but it had the complete opposite effect on me I didn t feel connection to either of the characters nor sympathy because I couldn t take anything seriously It was like watching actors overacting They never felt real or believable to me 268 The Caretaker is a beautiful second chance emotional romance that completely wrecked me Tears were shed multiple times as I rooted for this couple as they navigated such a complicated situation that had me worried about their HEA Noon and Solace are soul mates who are introduced to one another in complicated moment in both their lives but their instant connection easily erases most of their worries and heartache Then after their separation their second chance journey was also so heartbreaking to witness but also hopeful as their connection remained just as powerful and evident as ever I enjoyed how both Solace and Noon were given time and space to process their grief grow in their love for one another and always find their way back to one another Their love was so wholesome beautiful possessiveness rough sex kink insane jealousy etc in these stories but this one hit a little different due to the tough subject matter Nevertheless the writing was again very addictive although I did get confused sometimes by the 2 timelines going simultaneously but from different POVs Amnesia is not my favorite trope but it gave some interesting insights about how the brain forgets but the heart remembers.
