As one of the thirteen authors I m biased But honestly the work that my twelve co authors did is amazing and I m so proud of the final product and how it was wrapped up. Zumba con yazmin roca I cannot wait to read the next one Zombacon This was the most fun I had reading a horror story in a long long time The idea behind Zombacon is that the story is written exquisite corpse style by thirteen authors each contributing their own chapter in their own distinctive voice The story itself begins with a truck driver Travis carrying a dangerous cargo and taking a catastrophic detour to a swine farm Each chapter builds in the intensity of the story contributing and to the narrative to the gore and to the horror The overall product is fast paced unrelenting and well worth the time and money from every reader Just like anything that contains bacon this is truly irresistible and buying a copy will not be one of your rasher decisions Zombacon 4. Zombacon booker I must admit when I heard the concept of one book being a collaboration of 13 authors I was sceptical that they could combine everyone s styles but to their credit it actually worked really well and without being told I would not have guessed that it was a collaboration at all. Zombacon bookkeeping If you are a fan of dodgy zombie movies and splatterpunk like me then I highly recommend this value meal Zombacon Zombacon is a violent romp through a gore soaked pig monster apocalypse A different author writing each chapter creates a unique story with lots of different styles that somehow work together to create a cohesive story Brutal action with great characters I recommend it Zombacon Alberto s life is forever altered when an infection spreads through his small town transforming neighbors and friends alike into ravenous swine like monsters As he joins forces with a makeshift group to navigate the apocalyptic landscape they must question how far they are willing to go to survive in a new world where humanity and monstrosity begin to blend In a world of uncertainty can anyone truly be trusted This exquisite corpse provides a full slab of 100% all natural non GMO porcine destruction processed through thirteen twisted minds cultivating into one continuous splatterpunk extravaganza Guaranteed to be lower in cholesterol and a whole lot bloodier than the store brand Bring a carving knife and a spare plate Bon appetit ZombaconI LOVED this concept of a group of authors writing this story Each took a different chapter and brought in new or returning characters The general idea was about a bizarre mutant swine apocalypse and the survivors trying to get away from the madness mayhem and murder It was pretty gross graphic and visceral was flung about amongst the pages So awesome. Zombacon book What I struggled with was the thing that made this story so cool so many authors involved At times transitions between chapters were a bit choppy and wonky some characters popped in and out with no explanation and the timeframes timelines seemed to vary as well This lead to me having to backtrack quite a bit to try and figure out the details who s who who went where etc. Zorba coney island Great tale with a number of talented authors but I think it may have read a bit smoothly if each author took the central porcine monster plague concept and created their own short stories separately from there Zombacon Devoured this all in an hour it was so good Imagine Cows mixed with Josh Malerman s Pearl you got one gory fucked book Some scenes also reminded me of the Purge but instead of humans carrying out the purge it is deformed pig hybrids who are the result of scummy pig farms Anyways if you re looking for a quick gross read this is the book for you Zombacon That ll do you Robert Royal Poff Video review Zombacon I absolutely enjoyed this. Zumba convention 2023 What happens next is all out chaos as people run for their lives from the pig human monstrosities whilst trying to save their bacon Survival groups are formed and just as quickly torn apart whittled down in the most violent and savage ways until a final stand off at the train station where things go from bad to wildly insane in the blink of an eye and it s not just the hogmen they need to survive its each other. Zombicon shooting This is such an insane ride full of horror gore and outright carnage All the separate chapters flow smoothly and effortlessly into the next the perfect hive mind working together to create a brutal bloody terrifyingly good time Not only are the images that are described utterly horrific but the noises too I m going to hear those sickening screeches and squeals for a very long time to come they ll be echoing in my soul forever I loved CII Jones chapter from the pigs pov and the narration from the piggy pilot was chefs kiss Zombacon is a tasty little treat for the gore hounds out there I highly recommend it Zombacon
