NINE LIVES PART FIVE Selina s international tour of death and rebirth continues Her latest crime Going deep beneath the sea to rescue a film director turned brainwashed political prisoner from a bunch of undersea ne er do wells The only problem is the director doesn t want to leave his new home and he s harboring a secret that ll make him lethal to Selina if anyone finds out he s been takenincluding the director himself To make it through the mission with any of her nine lives intact Catwoman will have to trick her quarry into thinking nothing out of the ordinary is happening But will her acting skills stand up to the director s standards Catwoman 2018 63Since being given 9 lives Catwoman feels compelled to put her own life at risk for questionable causes This is one of those questionable causes While I did enjoy the underwater setting and cast of characters one wonders if she couldn t have just reached out to Batman or the Justice League to get some underwater reinforcements from Aquaman Mera or others suited for an underwater rescue op I did like the artwork but the ending was confusing not quite explaining what happened or having any kind of dialogue between Catwoman and the person she set out to save 26 Why would Catwoman do this I really didn t understand why Selina would use one of her lives to save a film director she doesn t know She didn t gain anythingshe just lost something for nothing A few of these stories have been weak from Toni Howard The artwork was mostly a mess off I m honest The only thing I love is Selina but a stronger writer is needed 26 Ah yes I will forever remember the time Catwoman went on an underwater adventure to save an independent film maker and his movie Moving on 26 Fin and frisky Catwoman is out of her element 26
