Things are getting hot in book 3 of the Homesteader Hearth Witch series and it s not just the baked goods in the oven Misty and Sawyer are getting in their groove on the farm Misty works on the grimoire and we learn about her and her family history The Carnival Cauchemar and an unwelcome guest s come into town and things get heated We get to see of Arthur swoon Will the crafting circle be able to help Misty figure out what is going on with her powers Book 3 did not disappoint and I love that Misty is slowly becoming part of the Redbud community Hopefully she continues to work through the mysteries of the grimoire and alongside the hobs on the farm Plus I need lumber snack The book has some comical lines and I really enjoy those LOL moments Thank you to the author Kat Healy and Booksprout for the opportunity to read this book. Paranormal Sourdough troubleshooter I m SO Loving this series and get totally wrapped up in Misty s story especially when she s trying her best to be true to the purpose of her being in Redbud in the first place. Book Sourdough troubleshooting That she has had to hold herself back from the small circle of people in Redbud that consider her as their friend is rather heartbreaking Misty has spent her whole life separated from everyone bar her immediate family so having others willing to be friends is a blessing and a curse to her. Book Sourdough troubles Her friends who couldn t be unalike each other if they d tried all have that need for friendship in common and I love that they all seem to have secrets of their own and that their characters complement each other. Paranormal Sourdough troublesome But my favourite parts of these tales come when Misty s On again Off again relationship with Arthur the quietly passionate Lumbersnack rears up as this becomes the focal point really of their continued story. Sourdough Troubles ebook3000 I have to confess that I found myself shedding a few tears when reading the text that Misty inadvertently sent to Arthur Their relationship embodies the way in which I consider a true romantic one should be It s so sweetly funny but sad also and I m so hoping that things can improve once they both become open with each other about the secrets they are hiding from each other.
