This could be a solid 5 for them LOL It was for sure spicy spicy spicy I tried to picture in my brain some of the scenes and was like woahis that possible lolMy favorite partwas when Naturi verbatim sang Alfalfa s song to Darla to her husband I nearly fell in the floor and could only picture Naturi as Darla and Kokoum as Alfalfa. There is a cliff hanger so I know there is another one coming The plot did not happen until the last 20 pages where the old love interest showed up and tried to stake his claim Then she left with him after telling her husband that he was it for her and sleeping with her husband. There was a lot of action in this book 90% of the book was them doing the deed in a BDSM type manner 10% of the book or less was plot There is a lot of passion and you learn a lot about the characters needs in a partner Naturiyanna FMC was sacrificed by her tribe and her family was slaughtered She has suppressed a lot of it and she struggles with PTSD from it She marries Kokoum and they are passionate from the first time they meet. KoKoum MMC prince of his tribe and has a very hefty appetitecough coughand not for food He is very controlling and dominant over NaturiyannaBut can their passion hold them together in the end Maybe book 2 will tell us The Water s Sacrifice A Daughter Of M yane 1 4. 8 starsHOLY HELLLLL this book was chefs kissthis book was definitely different from the othersi loved the story building and the setting it had a good pace and i was constantly begging to read one chapter.

L I had no problems staying entranced through every single page of this book I loved every single minute of it Presley s writing is amazing I loved reading about characters of a different heritage and Presley writes of that heritage in such a tasteful and respectful way You can tell that she really did her research to give that heritage justice As for the dark romance aspect chef s kiss It was amazing This is most definitely a book I would re read and I m not one to re read my books so that s really saying something I truly and thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of this book The Water s Sacrifice A Daughter Of M yane 1 A very unique love story Incredibly spicy so make sure you check your trigger warnings A lot happens in the last chapter and it ends on a cliffhanger Need to know what happens in the next book The Water s Sacrifice A Daughter Of M yane 1
