A tear jerker for sure but there s a happy ending It is a long one but I finished it in a day and half I enjoyed reading the book but I could see where there could be parts where others could get bored This isn t an action packed story in terms of fighting or battles I d be interested in how Lady Joiya intends to keeps reincarnating Sulim and if she will always come back to Mira when she turns 20 I loved how the author foreshadowed things as well There s no spice either it s so fade to black This didn t bother me but I know it might others 727 After receiving an email from one of my favorite authors that her new book was available I jumped at the chance to read it This story of very different from the usual A sapphic fantasy romance that is quite the book at over 700 pages long Not that I noticed it as I was reading This story hooked me in from the beginning and I became quite ensconced in Sulim and Mira s story The world building is fascinating There are so many places and people and societies and it just flows beautifully and cohesively Our main couple is well fleshed out from beginning to end They grow and develop naturally both separately and as a couple Finding your soulmate the love of your life in a way that goes against everything you are taught and yet Yes and yet It s a beautiful story Interesting Engaging Captivating Highly recommend.
