Where Finley owns and bakes yummy treats Jake has strong feelings for the younger woman and his daughter adores Fin I found the interactions between Finley and Jake and Amber to be adorable and romantic The book made me laugh a lot and put the AC on once Fin and Jake start dating Jake is currently trying to divorce Natalie and problems arise Scarlett is Fin s bestie and she makes me laugh and is a good friend to Finley I really enjoyed the book and can t wait to read about the other characters. This is a fantastic feel good happy read and I loved it Jake takes his daughter Amber to Finley s bakery every Friday to enjoy a snack with her But he s also there to see Finley something about her just makes him happy He finally asks her out and realizes he wants her in his and Amber s life forever But he needs to get his ex to sign the divorce papers he sent her a year ago This is a fast paced excellent story Loved how Finley and Jake got together and fought for their love Wonderful steam too and just a fantastic read. Nailed Right book I found this to be the right amount of sweet you want in a book Its not over the top but drags you into its marshmallow goodness and leaves you wanting Its got some drama but thankfully these two and their growing feelings overtake all of that. Book Nailed rightnow 15 on Friday to collect Amber from school for father daughter bakery time cut to the next scene and Finley is just preparing for the lunchtime rush when Jake and Amber arrive A lunchtime rush after 3pm on a Friday Confusing This happens a few times through the book which was disappointing and not something I have come across in any other book by Fern Fraser so I am hoping it is a one off anomaly It will not stop me reading future books by Fern Fraser. Nailed Right kindle reader I read this on Kindle Unlimited Nailed Right Jake is the head of Clearwater Construction and works with his bestie Paul Jake has been working hard trying to balance his work life and caring for his young daughter Amber as Amber s mother is a piece of work and left them Natalie Fridays are when Jake picks up Amber from school and takes her to the local bakery boss isn t easy because his baby girl is still young needing him than ever especially after her mother walked out on them and having a relationship or being involved again but fate has other plans Finley is so sweet owns operates her own bakery enjoys seeing people smile when they order her goodies looks forward to her sweet little customer who comes in every Friday with her father and her father isn t bad to look at in fact he is just as yummy as some of her treats Every Friday the magnetic pull between them grows and the they try to remain professional the stronger the pull between them grows but with him dealing with a women who walked out on their daughter running a construction company it won t be easy yet their hearts won t allow them to walk way nor will little Amber but will they give each other a chance will her mother try coming back into their lives to wreak havoc will they get their chance to love that sweet girl and is there a balance that will lead them to happiness Nailed Right WOW Fab u lous Absolutely love this one I couldn t put this one down This was a nice quick short read. Nailed Right booklet Jake and Finley met when he takes his daughter Amber into her bakery Jake goes into the bakery every Friday with his daughter Amber and tries to flirt with Finley When one of his friends suggest he get back out there and ask the cute baker out on a date Jake does Jake takes Finley bowling and then they head down to the lake to watch the sunset The next date Finley suggest they take Amber to the zoo and they all enjoy themselves When Jake s parents take Amber for a few days Finley and Jake have dinner together but before they even get to their meal he pleasures her then they make love The next day Jake wakes up early and is making breakfast for them when there s a knock on the door Finley answers the door to find Jake s wife there but he s has divorce paper just waiting for his wife to sign them Jake s wife insists on seeing her daughter but Amber isn t home Jake tries to calm his wife down but she s upset seeing Finley in their home Jake tells Finley to go and take a shower so that he can talk to his wife Finley hears some of their conversation and then leaves Finley goes back to her bakery to think about the situation After a few hours Jake finds Finley at her bakery and he comes to help her build the shelves she s been wanting A few weeks later Amber has been coming to the bakery every Friday to help Finley create new recipes When Jake arrives he finds them in the back he received a call from his lawyer the divorce is final Finley tells Jakes she has news of her own she s pregnant Eight months later Finley helps Amber with a bake sale at her school everyone raves about them They sell out of all of their baked goods Jake comes to take them home and he has a surprise of his own When Finley wakes inside the house has rose petals all over On a table is all of Finley s favorite snacks and they made her a cake that reads will you marry us Finley turns and finds Jake on one knee they tells her they wanted to do something special for her Jake asks Finley to marry him and make them a family she tells him yes Jake and Finley found a home a family a place where they both belong and they couldn t be happier Nailed Right Nailed Right is part of the Clearwater Construction series It s a short and steamy instalove OTT age gap curvy girl gets a hot single dad romance Finley is a sweet and sassy curvy bakery owner John is the slightly older hunky single dad to 9 year old Amber and owner of a construction company He and Amber spend time at Finley s bakery on Friday afternoons When he finally asks her out she says yes But she has some prior baggage and he is trying to finalize his divorce Can they make love work I loved this couple so much Jake was completely a swoon worthy construction man and such an amazing dad to Amber This couple had insane chemistry and after a little bit of ex drama we got an amazing HEA It was so good I can t wait for Scarlett s story.
