Compelling paranormal romance I can t wait for book 2 The ending made me cry 5 s I received a copy of this book from the Author and am choosing to leave this review Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 I liked this shifter story with enemies to lovers and fated mates I listened via audiobook gifted to me by the author The only thing that could have made this better would have been if it wasn t so easy to guess what was going to happen This occurred multiple times throughout the story Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1

And you also love romance this is the book for you This is a new author for me as well as new narrators Both Andi Eloise and Scott Rose did a fantastic job voicing Calli and Vaughn. The enemy has done this pdf Scott might be my new narrator crush His voice has that gravely alpha voice I love especially for shifter romance Now I just need the next book to see what happens with his sister Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 What a great story I loved listening to every second of this The world building is wonderful While this is a paranormal world it has different elements from what I am used to in this type of story The characters are interesting I love this idea of the Calista having this hidden past She is smart.

I thought I had predicted the witch or source to the spirit but the author Tyden definitely twisted it on me Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 I enjoyed this audiobook The narrators were superb I enjoyed the storyline characters and the flow of the book Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 Wow just wow This story has everything love hate enemies to lovers second chance romance found families And it all works together to make a cohesive youve come to the right place I started reading romance novels in my early teens and writing them soon afterwards growing up in small towns in western Canada there wasnt much else to do Luckily those early stories have never seen the light of day Now I live in the UK with my husband and daughter and spend my free time diving into magical or just romantic settings where true love almost always wins If you re looking for sweet and steamy romance you ve come to the right place I started reading romance novels in my early teens and writing them soon afterwards growing up in small towns in western Canada there wasn t much else to do Luckily those early stories have never seen the light of day Now I live in the UK with my husband and daughter and spend my free time diving into magical or just romantic settings where true love almost always wins site_link Orphaned in a brutal attack as a young child Calista grew up raised by hunters In her twenty one years she s learned how to take down almost any kind of supernatural creature that steps outside of the agreed upon rules but there s only one kind of creature she the ones who destroyed her family As Alpha of the biggest wolf pack in the area Vaughan can t wait any longer for his mate He ll have to take a chosen mate to keep his pack safe but all his good intentions are blown apart when he comes face to face with the young hunter and realizes that fate has other plans Fated Mates Chosen Family Mild Enemies Rivals to Lovers The book contains explicit violence and sexual scenes Recommended for readers over the age of 18 Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 This story is predominantly a wolf shifter paranormal romance with a mystery like storyline Still I like the addition of other paranormal supernatural characters as well It was exciting and the overall storyline is sweet suspenseful steamy and oh so good I can t wait to read in the series I love the fated mates the internal and external complications and of course Callie and Vaughan The story is twisted and action packed but has just the right amount of paranormal romance and steamy scenes to balance it We begin the prologue with a little girl having a bad dream and her father comforting her But then the worst thing happened and her life changed forever Calista is that little girl now a young adult She is now a hunter She is biased towards werewolves and taught to hate their kind Wow her misconstrued notions are genuinely messed up The hunters have done a number on her views Vaughan is Alpha of the Crimsontooth Pack of the northwest He is debating signing a contract and taking a chosen mate to benefit his pack But something is holding him up Wow he signed the papers I wonder if he will regret it We do jump povs between Calista and Vaughan Her job as a hunter leads toward her past and her own answers She seems to get herself in trouble with her own curiosity Calista s story gives you all the feels of how it is told in the book It is truly a tragedy This story gets juicy as the characters discover than they bargained for I love the moments where the readers know than the characters This book gets steamy as we eventually get to the destined mate part of the story They work on solving puzzles and of course their own logistics The book is sweet as we get a resolution of Callie s past and their future I love the enemies to lovers aspects and the hunter and wolf shifter to solve the suspense of who did it I absolutely loved how this book ended Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 If you love the show Supernatural quick and has this crazy job Vaughan is a different matter Alpha who needs a mate to help keep the pack under control He is controlling makes pack first and is unsure what his future holds This story has a lot of paranormal characters From demons to sasquatch and wolves to I love all the different types that show up in here Woo hoo that lead in into the next I cant wait Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 I Loved listening to this book. Fated to my enemy free Brilliant 5 Stars Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1 If you like werewolf books and the TV show Supernatural this is definitely the book for you Calista is an orphan who was adopted and raised by a couple who spend their lives hunting supernatural beings that cause trouble for humans The prologue sets out the events that led to her being family being killed so we know right from the beginning that there s something about Calista that she herself doesn t know Meanwhile Alpha Vaughan is about to enter into a contracted mating with a woman from another pack even though he would rather wait for his fated mate to appear A series of murders takes place and soon Calista and her family identify Vaughan s pack as the prime suspects By the time Calista and Vaughan come face to face it seems inevitable that they re fated mates but the question is what are they going to do about it There are some elements of enemies to lovers here but Calista and Vaughan are never true enemies They mistrust each other because of what they are her being a hunter and him being a werewolf but they re both measured logical people who give each other the benefit of the doubt most of the time Soon they re working together to get to the bottom of who s behind the murders and getting to know each other better in the process I liked this couple a lot They re well matched beyond any physical attraction they have and you can see their respect for each other grow as the investigation goes on The timeline is pretty compressed the main courtship takes place over just a few days but given the nature of the fated mate bond it didn t bother me too much The central mystery kept me guessing and when I thought I had it figured out the twist still took me by surprise Overall I really enjoyed this book I also liked several of the side characters especially Felix Savannah and even Amanda and I m looking forward to reading about them in the rest of this series Fated to the Enemy Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 1
