Good I m really looking forward to seeing how Ryan and crew deal with the internal and external threats to the divine realms Crystal Core 2 Crystal Core 2 Getting the team togetherRyan gets to head off by himself and even spend some one on one time with his secretive assassin wife But before long his other wives join him and they start to learn to work together as a team. Fun story and I m enjoying the characters Looking forward to reading the next book Crystal Core 2 Crystal Core 2 Yes Enjoying the adventure so much that I m ready for the next book The only issue with this series is the grammatical errors Crystal Core 2 Crystal Core 2 4. 5 stars Overall I liked it but I find the MC is a bit of an idiot This is understandable given his background and he does pretty well all things considered but I found his portrayal uneven Regardless it moves well and this one ends at the obvious beginning of the next story arc And on one significant revelation it isn t all that much of surprise but puts in blunt terms something I had a formless suspicion of for the first two books I look forward to book 3 and how many other clans will try to bind themselves to him as well as the glimpse of the Gotterdammerung in the future Crystal Core 2 Crystal Core 2 Crunchy cultivationAlternate universe fantasy races portals cultivation harem fade to blackAs per the cover much of focus switches between the cultivation ranking of Ryan and his three wives and Ryan developing a relationship with his second wife Shikumo or as Ryan calls her Kumo More testing and battling while Ryan works on his own emotional development while getting his wives to see normal people as being valuable in their own right Usual amount of errors A lot of potential beyond defeating the invaders who want to conquer and kill Instead specialty mages the cultivators have affinity to one or types of ki they call mana There are elemental types besides the usual four creature mana poison mana and If the next book doesn t deal with the yeti in storage I ll be irritated because I hate when problems tasks or whatever are introduced as needing resolution or just attention but then never come up again. Part of the fascination of harem stories for me is the relationships that can develop how each character reacts not just to the MC but to each other as well and that the interactions be believable Thus far this series is holding its own Pre ordered book 3 Satisfied with the tale so far Crystal Core 2 Crystal Core 2
