North Carolina Fury These two are brought into each other s lives when they become next door neighbors Will Lorelai and Reid go their own ways Or can they take a chance together that leads to the best kind of goal Both Lorelai and Reid drew me right in I enjoyed the way these two were brought together and getting to see how they d handle being around each other so often as neighbors I wasn t sure how certain things would unfold which got me even into this story Both Lorelai and Reid were both hard working and were going after things in their lives I adored the sides that these two brought out in one another Lorelai was strong and so relatable to me I truly felt for her throughout How Reid was all about Lorelai had me falling for him as well These two had such great chemistry These two had me feeling many things with them I was so glad to get into the North Carolina Fury world for the first time From hockey to the realness of emotions all the way to the neighbors to lovers aspect.

Not pretty even though she is She struggles with self confidence She works hard and has goals but still struggles She has a hard time seeing that Reid has a thing for her. Book love on the dole 5 4 starsLove on the Ice by Hayley James was my first book by this author and it has inspired me to go looking into her other work I loved the connection between Reid and Lorelai and I love a good insta love but if that s not your vibe then it s probably not for you I thought that the characters were great and I really enjoyed them hence the 3. It was short and sweet and definitely had swoon worthy moments and characters and I know I would very much enjoy reading about any of the other characters in this book also I would definitely recommend to those after a short and fun read I would however be cautious of reading if you are sensitive to sexual assault coercion as these themes are present at times in this book. Suspense Love on the ice cream I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Love on the Ice North Carolina Fury 1 This was a quick read and a great introduction to the series Reid was determined to make it in hockey He determined that he ll do anything to land a spot in the NHL And when he meets Lorelai he feels like with her by his side he could conquer the world I absolutely fell for him and the way he accepted her for who she is Lorelai has not had an easy life The reason I couldn t give this book 5 is because I felt like I couldn t connect to her 100% due to missing info about what happened to her.

Book love on the dole 5 StarsThis is the first book in the series I loved that the team the guys play for is an AHL team I just went to my first two AHL games so I know what the excite is about Lorelai feels like she doesn t fit in with her beautiful model worthy roommates but she couldn t be wrong Now don t be thinking bad about her roommates because they are awesome and have her back which you will see quite often in this book They give her unconditional support Reid thanks his lucky stars to be moving next door to Lorelai She thinks a man like Reid wouldn t want her but her true authentic self is what draws him They are adorable together My heart goes out to Lorelai with what she goes through in this book Karma needs to make a very quick visit to a nasty piece of work That s what makes the end and epilogue all the special for these characters I did enjoy this book but I did find myself a little disconnected at times A roller coaster ride for the characters Love on the Ice North Carolina Fury 1 As soon as I saw a post about this book while on social media I wanted to read it I ve been so forward to it ever since I picked it up and got right on into the North Carolina Fury world I enjoyed this story so very much Lorelai and Reid s journey drew me in right from the start Lorelai is a college student and numbers are her go to Reid is a hockey player on the AHL hockey team I very much enjoyed this story With Love on the Ice Ms. Book love on the dole James has created such a good sports romance that brought the feels and kept me turning the pages I am so looking forward to from this author and can t wait to dive back into this world with book two Fate on the Ice This story touches on certain subjects I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wordsmith Publicity the author Love on the Ice North Carolina Fury 1 North Carolina Fury 1Reid Tillman and several of his teammates buy a house across the street from Lorelai Hollis and her roommates On the day they move in the girls go over to welcome them to the neighborhood and invite them over for dinner Reid sees Lorelai and is smitten. Love on the Ice pdffiller He is the newest member of the Carolina Fury AHL hockey team working his way to the NHL He doesn t do relationships or even dating his whole focus is hockey that is until he sees Lorelai looking out her window at him. Kindle Love on the ice cream if you play like this on Thursday is said the next day which is clearly not Thursday The book s timeline is inaccurate The easiest solution would have been for Lorelai to have said that she has her exam next Monday or a week from Monday Clearly I am bothered by this oversight Also when Lorelai is in her room and there is a knock at the door she says that she is not surprised that it s Skye The same sequence happens the next day with Lorelai again saying she is not surprised to find Brooklynn at the door This just seems incomplete to me Lorelei should have said something that indicated that both women are similar in their need to check on her Five people going to the same place taking five separate vehicles is ridiculous Car pool. Love on the Ice mystery doug But he isn t bothered by my name Considering he doesn t know it he cannot be bothered by it Perhaps this is supposed to mean that he has not bothered to ask but it sounds weird. Love on the Ice mystery doug We move liquidly between each other s homes Liquidly Really Lol How about fluidly he opens the gate and swiftly guides me toward the back porchI seeReid standing in the middle of the yard He cannot be standing in the middle of the yard when he is already standing next to you leading you into the yard It is stupid for Lorelai to think that Brooklynn and Reid would pursue anything together She knows Lorelai is into him and even agreed for Lorelei to go to dinner with Reid before she agreed herself She is your friend Lorelai Reid and Otto s attempt at scaring a perverted professor is a joke It would not have even made me flinch It was the calmest talking to when trying to make a stern point I have ever heard or heard Go to the dean of the school Luring students into sexual favors in exchange for better grades is a crime Not locking the door is also asking to get caught There is no way that Reid is in love with Lorelai When she does not answer his call and does not reply to his text he decides he is done This is all within the span of maybe two minutes Then a couple of days later you want to keep her forever Between this and her jumping to conclusions and self doubt neither are anywhere close to ready for that On page 129 he says that he dated Rylee for a short time On page 152 he tells Lorelai that he and Rylee never dated I am not sure if this is a mistaken by the author or if Reid is being dishonest There is no ceremony because earning an accounting certificate does not warrant a graduation She has not earned a degree Having graduation ceremonies for earning certificates is not a thing It s beautiful my new mother in law rasps I ve just slipped into my dress Having just put on her wedding dress the ceremony has not happen yet which means that Reid s mom is not her new mother in law rather her soon to be mother in law During a hockey game it mentions quarters Hockey is played in periods not quarters I even looked up the AHL to be sure The AHL is unique though having two periods instead of three Love on the Ice North Carolina Fury 1 Lorelai knows she s not the kind of girl her hot new neighbor would be interested in She s studious and quiet with no family unlike her sweet but far beautiful friends roommates So why does Reid seem interested in her than in her friends Perhaps she ll just go along with it and enjoy herself while it lasts Because she knows it will end isn t even a real thing contrary to what her heart might hope for Reid has always only been about hockey until his new neighbor catches his attention Now he s not completely focused on the ice and it s affecting his game Will he lay everything out in the open for Lorelai to hear Or will he be too late by the time he finally gets his thoughts together This is a cute sort of insta love hockey romance Reid is especially likable and sweet and it s obvious how he feels about Lorelai from the minute they meet Lorelai took a little while longer to figure things out but it s pretty understandable considering her background There s a bit of suspense with Lorelai s horrible professor and it helps give the story a bit of a rounded feel I love hockey series now I m looking forward to of the Carolina Fury boys falling in love ARC provided by Wordsmith Publicity for an honest review. EBook Love on the ice Reid has been wanting to know who this girl is since he looked eyes on her in the window The time he spends with her the he wants to be with her He wants to spend all his time with her when he s not playing hockey Lorelai had a lot of things going on in her life She needs to finish school and she just failed the last and final exam The professor wants her to trade sexual favors for her grade going up She freaks out Then she starts noticing the professor outside her home when she s alone and showering up at her work She doesn t tell anyone though Thinking it will just go away Plus she thinks she s just a booty call to Reid and is friend zoned Especially when a video comes out of him and another girl snuggling up after a game I enjoyed this read and it was a quick one It was really cheesy though It seemed to just be about sex that through in a few things to try and make it a plot It was just a cute read Love on the Ice North Carolina Fury 1
