Love is life It asks the question what is love And the emotion is described in a myriad of beautiful ways Ways in which only KJ in her wonderfully unique view of the world and voice can describe. Love is fake Journalist Jayde and Professional Nanny Chaperone Tessa have their own perspectives and fears about what love is Tessa has of a fairy tale view even though she s recovering after her girlfriend of 18 months left her while Jayde has a much jaded one She s been so hurt in the past and is firmly in the only one night stands for me camp But as Jayde works on an in depth celebrity profile of A list actress Abigail Taylor and gets to know Grace s chaperone Tessa the two women grow closer while attempting to bring a new perspective of love and romance to the other. Love is all around J Wrights Love is A delight to read This book is a celebration of women of all kinds Strong sweet thoughtful successful Closed off not sure where they fit Sexy beautiful arresting Resilient forgiving and sometimes all those things at once It s apt that it was brought out on international women s day KJ has this beautiful descriptive sweet writing style that makes me feel like I m being wrapped in a warm gentle secure hug It s dreamy I swooned happy sighed had a big goofy grin on my face or giggled for the entirety of this book It s set around five years after the end of Coming Home We get two new character s Tessa Conner Grace s newly appointed chaperone and Jayde Furgason the journalist who is writing a four piece article on Abby with the theme Love is Tessa has a strong idea of what love should look like and gets wrapped up in it Although she doesn t realise it she s in love with love than the people she s declared it to in the past She is this shiny sunshine innocent woman who I couldn t help but love She s not naive she s actually very astute she just chooses to be herself and herself resembles a Disney princess Unfortunately that has led her to knocked down by silly people and her sexual self confidence has taken a beating Jayde is caring funny and confident She has zero interest in romantic love She would rather enjoy the pleasure of a woman s company without letting them penetrate the walls around her heart She has a authentic cheeky charisma that draws people in She is one of those people that feels safe Tessa and Jayde protect their hearts in extreme opposite ways One in love with the fantasy of perfect love The other never allowed herself to fall in love for fear of being broken However when both these women love they do so by giving all of themselves Whether that be romantic or otherwise They are very similar they just go about life in different ways They learn a lot from each other along the way and when they finally start walking the path of life together it is glorious I d love to see where they are in a few years There are a bunch of side characters that make this story even better The reader gets to know a now teenage Grace from Coming Home This kiddo is as cute as a teenager could ever be It was lovely seeing how she s grown Tessa s cousin and roommate Angel is a hoot She adds comedy sarcasm and sass in bucket loads Then there s my favourite Oliver Jayde s dad He is the most beautiful kind sweetest man ever I d like him to adopt me please I want to hug this book it s Incredibly sweet incredibly wonderful incredibly fluffy and an incredibly sexy read With so many toe curling kisses that left me in a daze Kissing is one of the most intimate acts a kiss can say so much I desire you you re cute I need you now I love you This book gives us them all and It has one of the most consensual steamy dialogue heavy sex scenes I ve ever read My god was it hot and beautiful in equal measures A huge round of applause to this author for highlighting sex positivity sexual desires and preferences that differ Honestly it s stunning The in depth character profile about Abigail call me Abby Taylor on Love is Smart heartwarming insightful and gives the reader a chance to catch up with her and Samantha no I m not a Samantha call me Sam Markson It s released in four parts which are cleverly placed throughout the book Ok I could go on and on but I ll stop there So to answer the question Love is romantic familiar and safe It comes in all forms Love is friendships kinship understanding and simply saying I ve got you I m here Love is Books characters tropes and genres Love is giving without expectations but trusting the people you love to give in return and not take advantage Love is acceptance of yourself and those you give it to Because without that for me there can be no love Love is being your authentic self Saying this is me if you re interested I ll be here Love is In all its forms magical If you need your soul soothing or your heart mending or if you want a big hug then pick this one up It s escapism at its finest Think fluffy unicorns on rainbow clouds giving sexy longing looks are unicorns sexy Well I just made them so telling silly dad jokes It s that unique and divine So go read it and if you can ask yourself the question Love is 5 stars plus stars because 5 just isn t enough Arc received from the author K. Love is fake J Wrights I ve loved every KJ book that I ve read Her character building is excellent Coming Home was a top ten book for me so reading this conclusion to the series was very enjoyable to see all the old characters again I liked Tessa s character she was such a sweet and honest person Jayda was my favorite she was intensely loyal to her dad and true to herself Total stand up person This book was a story within itself as Jayda is writing a column on the meaning of love She asks all the people she meets to give her their thought on Love Is Almost like she s doing research for a thesis And this story has a plot line running through it of faux dating that brought humor and fun to the book K. Love is free J Wrights Seventh heaven of romantic novel It felt like swimming in a gooey puddle of sweet stickiness Even if you don t believe in love you will feel it all around you in all its forms By the time you reach the last page and believe me you will fly to it you ll feel all the good chemical reactions in your brain A boost of happiness Love is a dark chocolate melting slowly in your mouth like the one I am savouring now with its sweetness and bitterness alternating to tickle your tasting buds and let you explore all the possibilities of something so amazing that sometimes words are not enough to describe it Look what you ve done KJ First you literally destroy my heart with The Forever and the Now you teach me that love always needs to be cultivated to be cherished because it can be gone in a moment Your love can be gone You other part of your soul can leave you I am still not totally recovered from that Probably will always hold a grudge but after reading Love is I trusted you enough to carry my heart to the so desperately needed HEA Permanent grin Heart shaped eyes Happy sighing Dopamine Serotonin Oxytocin Endorphin Post orgasmic bliss of reading words that do good to the soul Kindness that does good to the heart I feel like C line Dion s songs have possessed my body If you have read Coming Home and love it as much as I did then you must read the conclusion to the Melbourne based novel and dive fearlessly into Love is I highlighted so many passages because there was so much that appealed to me KJ s writing is funny sweet gentle respectful and her characters always have something familiar to them They are down to earth even when being movie stars or having special powers There is a humanity in them that is always so captivating A fragility and a strength in pouring that fragility out in the world Exposing your fragility is such a powerful thing to witness and so endearing What I liked the most about Love is The poetry in it I know that KJ is a wonderful poet and has a wicked way with words You could extract a whole book of poems from this novel I would certainly read it The main characters Tessa is such a pure heart so innocent so genuine so on cloud nine about love itself and her meeting with Jayde and her reluctance to let herself fall in love is absolutely adorable Teaching each other a version of their way of interacting with people Of showing how to navigate passion and romantic love Cuteness overload 2. Love is all around 0 I might have a weakness for Jayde the one with all the walls up always gets me the most A hidden heart is a mystery I can t resist The opening of the windows of that heart is a joy that can t be measured Reading about finding love it s just so fulfilling Reading again about Abby Sam and Grace Such a delightful plus and cherry on the cake I love Grace An old soul A poet A gentle soul The beautiful surprise Angel Her humor got me giggling several times she needs her own novel for sure Love is a novel an essay about love an interview to loving people Love is a book you ll fall in love with Let it lift your heart and give you all the good vibes to feel the sun warming up all of you.
