Oh Ilya I wasn t entirely sure what I was getting into with this book I saw Keeping Ruby and knew I wanted to read it so I started here I enjoy forced marriage stories as much as the next unhinged girlie Ilya claims he always knew he would end up seeing and loving a woman immediately as passionately just like his dad I need Alexei and Tara s story Irelynn is your run of the mill girl just trying to make ends meet and take care of her cat Lucifer She crosses Ilya at a work party that s being held at one of the casinos he owns He takes her to his home and that s the start of their romance I loved their tension and I adored how he doted on her I also really liked Polina.

But the reasonable part of me understands that the situation she was put in was scary and that she was in uncharted territory I did like that she missed him when he was gone I loved that she felt safe with him I loved that eventually she just wanted to please him I loved her relationships with the animals and the people he surrounded himself with. Suspense This was so good I love me a good Bratva story and this one delivered. Usaf little blue book Irelynn live with Lucy Lucifer her cat in a crumby little apartment She treats the cat like a king but barely looks after her own needs She works at a construction firm that she lied to get in the door too with her friend Rae. Suspense Little bluestem Basically they briefly meet when he is at the same place that her Xmas party is being held He then starts obsessing over her To the point that he kidnaps her and steal her away to Russia Turns out that his dad did the exact same thing to his mum These Bratva men fall hard and take what they want. Little blue dot He is convinced that he can get her to fall in love with him and she is convinced that it s not going to happen It all works out in the end and is really kinda sweet. Any maternal figure in mafia bratva cartel romance always hits a soft spot for me At the end of the day I really enjoyed this I loved the big hard Pakhan being soft for his woman The spice was superb as well Especially the chase scenes It truly doesn t get any better than that Contemporary Romance Suspense I ll always love rooting for these morally grey characters. Little Blue contemporary Thank you BookSirens and Alannah Carbonneau for providing me this eArc Contemporary Romance Suspense St lking obsession k dnapping hunting revenge love spice Everything I love in a book I always love a big tough scary guy who is only soft for his woman and Ilya is that the way he cares for Irelynn and even Lucifer Lucy her cat is amazing Little Blue is such a strong woman After her parents died she was put into foster care where she was abused by her foster brother until she was able to escape She then was living on her own with only her cat Lucy until Ilya took her to keep for himself He took her to Russia without her knowledge and slowly got Irelynn to fall in love with him because he loved her from first sight in his casino The twists were great of course I do enjoy mafia romances as there s always some kind of war action bad guys scary stuff but also love and softies who will do anything to protect the one they love This book kept me intrigued and wanting I ve loved Ilya since Devil s Heartbreak and am so glad Alannah wrote Ilya s story for us to read and enjoy Contemporary Romance Suspense This book was sexy suspenseful emotional and annoying Irelynn is supremely annoying She lives in romance La La Land wanting love that surpasses rationality reads Mafia romances and lives a sad lonely life but SHE FIGHTS THE HERO because Why He is offering her everything she wants and she s being stubborn and stupid about it I can understand the fear of being with a stranger but for a character that reads and ENJOYS Mafia romance she was awfully pig headed about everything That annoyed the hell out of me Overall it was fun to see characters from previous books and I am eager to read the books about the brothers This book was okay Contemporary Romance Suspense Light Mafia and kidnapping trope storyline told from multiple POVs For me this was a pretty stereotypical mafia romance with an over the top male lead and a naive virgin Our MMC is the newly minted head of the Russian Bravta and he spots out MFC Irelynn aka Little Blue while she is at a holiday party for work at a casino He s immediately hooked and decides she ll be going home with him to Russia As one would expect Irelynn is less than pleased even if he did bring her cat along and is determined to escape him no matter how attractive she finds him.
