Site_link post a commentGarrett is a morally grey hero He s done some bad things but was dealt a kind of crappy hand to begin with He tries to improve his situation and begins making some better decisions on his adventure He meets a kind caring and generous woman who decides to help him get out of the trouble he s found himself in despite his flaws The demon s in this book are pretty grotesque and not anyone I would want to find myself entangled with You get to see the ability these demons have sometimes using them to help Garrett and sometimes using them against him It s an action packed book and I enjoyed each new revelation Once you think you know where the book is going something else happens to change it up It s a horror book so there are some dark themes murders and spooky vibes Some adult material would caution me from recommending to young readers but it s a good read without slow parts or world building The writer builds along the way and divulges relevant information as needed I enjoy how it s written There are no information dumps or unnecessary detailed work which usually take me out of a story Demon Twins A Novel Book of Demons 1
