Contemporary be careful what you wish for meaning Alessa is a lawyer that after a bad relationship where he left her after she got pregnant focused all her ambitions on having money and power no matter what After winning a big case she is assaulted Afterwords at night she is taken into another world and to return she has to complete three challenges While she does this she starts questioning if maybe all her methods ambitions and goals are worth all the she thought and starts to realize that she was being focused and driven to the extreme This was my first short story and being an addidct to details it felt that I had something missing I enjoyed the way it was told and I think it has a great potencial to a very good long dark retelling with all it s involved Romance Contemporary Fantasy Not your Disney version of Merida This is a quick read short dark fairy re tale and cautionary story about what we do to get what we want and what we get away with along the way. Be careful what you wish for you might get it You re on the way up doing what you need to do but how are you getting there and how do you feel about it Alessa will do whatever it takes to earn the position at work she knows she deserves but after a nightmare encounter with the God of War Abigor does she still feel the same way FYI this is a dark cautionary tale so there are graphic and violent scenes. Goosebumps book be careful what you wish for While at home sleeping she s dragged into another world a world ruled by Abigor the God of War She has to earn his kiss for her chance of freedom returning home To do so she must complete and win three challenges If you like Disney stories and the authors that retell them in a dark and twisted manner this short story is for you You ll want to discover if Alessia completes her challenge earns Abigor s kiss and returns home to Imogen During all of this will Alessia learn that life isn t about power and money That you can do much in life without living with wealth and power Romance Contemporary Fantasy
