Contemporary I was privileged to receive an advanced copy of this book and I am excited about the content which centres mainly on forgiveness The author did an amazing job of bringing several characters who weaved the story at its fast pace It also brought to the fore what people did when they gave their lives to Christ Some people drastically changed which only pushes aside their loved ones who may not be saved and I feel that is an area believers may have to look at. Love's directionless sorts I have finished the book but I am not done thinking about this story We explore trauma neglect family drama SA redemption salvation forgiveness and reconciliation This book is a full course meal nothing was missing except the ending I feel like Julia and Derin should ve sorted out their relationship and had a family reunion and Helen should have got her happy ever after But apart from that this is a straight 5 star read Christian Romance Contemporary Why did this happen Does God love me like so and so claims He possibly couldn t Else this bad thing would not happen to me. Love's directionless In difficult moments we often have questions lots of them Or life could just be going as usual and someone intrudes with talks about God s affection but we are unable to reconcile these claims with our reality or our past Thus making us no different from the main character of this novel Julia Onoja. Love's Direction book She s real sassy ambitious unapologetic flawed and also deeply wounded Perhaps it s her imperfections that draw the reader in making us relate to her especially when we read about the harrowing incidents that surrounded her upbringing Once upon a time Julia was sweet loving and needy But in the present it s payback time for everyone who has ever hurt her Except God has other plans And He ll climb mountains to prove His deep deep love for her Love s Direction pulses with themes of redemption love and romance loss forgiveness and even survival in a crazy world It showcases several other interesting characters and how they navigate life and faith or the lack thereof The book s prologue locked me in and afterward I couldn t stop flipping the pages It s a beautiful read lovingly crafted to showcase our collective human experience and importantly the Father s love despite our imperfections. Book Love's directional An exciting new author I m definitely watching out for IyanuOluwa and of the wonderful stories that God will tell through her characters to transform the lives of her readers Beautifully written engaging and suspenseful Love s Direction stands out as a worthwhile read Christian Romance the reader may be quick to judge her but as her story unfolded in a flashback we understood the reason behind her actions Don t be quick to judge. Love's directionless sorts There are several other lessons to be picked up from this book like the effects of divorce on children which may have dire consequences and it was an easy to read I only wish the stories of the different characters ended a bit better I feel the cliff that the readers were left hanging on is too steep but we are made to understand that Love s Direction is the first in the sequel thus we await the other books In all it was an interesting read and I recommend it Christian Romance Contemporary Thanks to iyanuoluwa olorode for the ARC copy I voluntarily read and received an ARC copy all thoughts and option are my own This was my first time reading a Christian themed novel and thankfully it didn t disappoint before I started this book I saw the warning which contained Rape forgiveness born again friendship betrayal reunionteenage romance redemption drama hatred trauma The book was fast paced the writing style and the use of Nigerian slangs in the book made it feel as though I was a part of the story The book felt me with mixed emotions and the characters really got on my nerves everyone of them went through pain but the characters who became born again infuriated me with their actions. Book Love's directions credit Sophia neglected her daughter and made wrong decisions but became born again and seemed forgiveness Julia went through so much at a young age yes she did do wrong but the people whom she thought she could rely on tossed her aside I was happy when she found someone who listened to her and made her decided to be born again and bring herself to forgive everyone and also ask to be forgiven This book shouldn t have made me cry but it did I enjoyed it so much i can t wait for book2.
