A Simple Book of Strength is a book about strength written for the every day person This book is not intended for gym rats powerlifters bodybuilders or performing strongmen It s for the person who wants to be stronger in their lives so they can feel good and enjoy their lives better Having strength just makes life better In this book you ll learn how to gain access to your full strength potential by engaging in simple movements that remove the inhibitions of your strength You re amazingly strong right now this is a guide to learning how to express the strength you already have There are also strength routines in this book that you can use to build and harness your strength further The bottom line is you are designed to be strong If you want to understand and experience that design read this book A Simple Book of StrengthSometimes when you really need something it falls right into your lap Tim s latest book is exactly what I needed I can t tell you how often I self sabotage myself with guilt or shame because I missed a workout or I didn t push hard enough or I over indulged at dinner I ve gotten really good at being hard on myself What I think Tim would say I should be doing instead is practicing positivity and get good at that instead of practicing negativity It seems so obvious doesn t it Tim doesn t over complicate things in his approach in this book And I think that s the point we should not overcomplicate our strength training and fitness goals We should find the things that we enjoy in our training and explore them I read this book while nursing a minor injury and it was just what I needed to reset Interestingly enough I read his last book Be Naked this time last year when I was in a fitness rut it was exactly the inspiration I needed then too Not sure if Tim can keep up his yearly release pace but I ll be looking this time next year for another dose of down to earth wisdom from him Side note my minor injury was resolved by daily resets which Tim discusses within the book I ve never met anyone willing to share their secrets like Tim He truly is a student and a teacher willing to pass on his knowledge Also you ll love the Easy 21s which is something I want to start incorporating into my fitness life Oh and that getup will blow your mind Enjoy English Another winner from TimTim has the most unique approach to strength training I ve ever seen but the proof is in the results he s a beast and he got there walking his own walk quite literally to a large extent On top of that Tim weaves in insightful uplifting and thought provoking wisdom into everything he writes. If you re looking for a strength training manual this isn t it But if you re looking for something deeper holistic and that considers the real life impact of strength beyond the simplistic ability to move furniture you ll enjoy this short book. I ll certainly be reading it again English Great book Tim expounds on his personal philosophy of strength I learned the importance of breath and free movement I like watching Tim s videos on YouTube and comparing his ever evolving thinking to what I read in this book Something for everyone at any stage of life English
