A very nice readWell this is a very nice read It is written by Krystal Anderson and is written very nice There are a few twists and turns in this book about outlaws trying to turn to the good side An enjoyable read The Widow s Match The Outlaw Matchmaker Book 1 ROSETTA AND CALVINThe story is the first in a new series The Outlaw Matchmaker The story is a clean western historical tale that has outlaws some have changed paths in life and others are always looking for another adventure The story will take place in the Utah Territory in 1891 The area is well known for outlaws to hang out or disappear The town of Cannoville is the larger area and Hideaway is much smaller with no law Mollie Moore reinvented herself and runs a small ranch of cattle She has only the foreman Ed and another cowpoke to help out at least until roundup time What a shock for Mollie to get a letter from her niece Rosetta informing her that she is on her way and will be arriving soon She asks if Mollie could help her find a husband Rosetta Cooper married Warren Baker and after eight months of marriage he left to go make his fortune in Montana She never heard from him again and after nearly eight years had him declared dead After the death of her mother and grandparents she has no one left in Iowa and finally discovers where her aunt is living in the Utah Territory She sends a letter asking if she would be able to help her find a husband. Book The Widow's match pdf Mollie knows Calvin Wooley has talked about marrying but there are no women in the area except saloon girls She ll go talk to him he agrees and they go to Cannoville to meet the stage The story encompasses the characters mentioned and has several surprises Calvin has left his outlaw life behind and is doing his best to live off the land and pick up odd jobs Added a wife is somewhat unexpected but not unwanted Before Calvin and Rosetta can even get settled an outlaw acquaintance from his past shows up and expects Calvin to help him on a new job What will this do to his new marriage But then even Rosetta must face a ghost from her past The story is fun and intriguing and keeps the pages turning I look forward to stories in this new series The Widow s Match The Outlaw Matchmaker Book 1
