Minna has always known that she was meant to be an author and up until recently she had been pretty successful at it however she is suffering from writer s block and then to top it all off her cat is in need of surgery which with a payment plan is going to take her the next seven years to pay off That is the reason that she even applied for the modelling job she had seen A day dressed as a bride didn t sound too bad However this photo shoot is not what he was expecting and soon she finds herself saying I do to Kade Harrington a billionaire that could get married to any woman that he wanted but she has signed a contract that she didn t read through Will she be able to fill the requirements of the contract without losing her heart to a man that only wanted a temporary wife and will she discover the reason for this charade Kade Harrington has a plan one that he has spent a lot of time on and for it all to go seamlessly he needed a woman to pretend to marry him Everything had been set that is until the one he had chosen pulled out and he had left all the details to his temporary assistant who proceeded to do everything wrong He didn t know how wrong until he sees Minna walking down the aisle towards him and discovers that she thought she was just at photoshoot not about to fake marry a man that she had never met before This was meant to only be temporary but when he lifts her veil he knows that there is no way that he can ever let her go Can Kade take back what was stolen from his family years ago and find a way for him to keep Minna forever or will he lose one to have the other As always Jessa brings us characters that are easy to relate to and still keep things steamy I loved how Minna was just Minna and that Kade fell for the woman and not the fa ade 4 excellent stars His Curvy Fake Bride Let s imagine Minna Dawes thinking that she s finally getting the dream job of her life For one thing she will be making enough money to make a good first payment on her vet bill Since her cat just had surgery and hasn t even recovered yet But better yet she loves the architecture of old buildings And where this photo shoot is being held it s one Minna never thought she would ever be able to see the inside Because it is a members only club and her bank account just doesn t have enough zeros behind it Of course that would mean it would have to have a digit higher than zero to proceed and with the first number since it can t be zero So when she got the last minute call to do the shoot she jumped at the chance Thank goodness her bestie Millie could come with her to do her hair and makeup Now here is when things get a little rushed and weird But with Minna and her character it s not You see she is a writer and she had professional success before graduating high school Now she seems to be having a dry spell called writer s block However by the end of this day I am sure she will have enough fodder to have a good book in the works You see when they arrive they are rushed to a room that is nice with seating lighting and a dressing room Soon after she is dressed Daniel returns He needs her to sign a rather large contract like last week However Minna feels pressured and rushed by Daniel And she has been on many photo shoots and the contracts are pretty much the same so she just signs it Not worried what could be that different Oh did I happen to mention Minna had to provide her own cosplay outfit Which happens to be a wedding dress Yup you read it right Anyway it turns out that what she signed was not a release at all It was a contract to be Kade Harrington s Fake Bride Kade Harrington the billionaire Because fifteen minutes after signing the fake marriage contract Minna would be walking down the aisle to marry Kade Then honeymooning right there at that hotel for three days Talk about being shocked it gets worse When Daniel throws open the chapel doors the place is filled with people Not stand ins either like real to goodness friends and colleagues of the groom Thank goodness the veil is over her face Because the guest and the groom would have gasped in horror at the look on her face This is not like any of the photoshoots Minna has ever been on before But she goes with it It s when the minister starts to speak that she starts to sway Kade knows right then that the person Daniel hired while Daniel was on vacation didn t handle anything correctly for Daniel Which in the end misrepresented Kade who was working unaware that things were amiss Not even knowing the young man didn t fulfill his instructions Kade had given strict orders to Daniel that needed to be met for the three days to go off without a hitch Life was about to get interesting Kade couldn t wait because he found Minna extremely attractive not to mention her great sense of humor She was deeply concerned about the plight of the club being too exclusive Minna is beyond willing to help the cause Making a huge impact on Kade s heart for just being herself Not wanting anything from him even though his team royally misrepresented him She was still willing to be by his side This was a funny sweet sexy intriguing and suspenseful little book I
