Horrendous Leah Williams 8 11 24 Leah Williams The fairy tale turn is a cute one for this story and will probably appeal to a lot of people though others will totally hate it I don t really mind it but it wouldn t be my first choice I m also not a big fan of the anime style art but it s neat that it was different from the rest of the series since it was in the land of Ferimibia in another dimension I find it amusing when the writing pokes fun at Power Girl s obvious appeal to the male audience I also enjoyed the team up between her and Supergirl though I am VERY new to Superman so I won t have the same feelings about this as long time fans I ll keep reading though I can t say this is the most exciting series I have going right now Leah Williams Was this silly fluff Yes Did I somehow find myself needing silly fluff Also yes It s a fun little story that like another reviewer said was over with too quickly and probably would have benefited from having another issue dedicated to it instead of being thrown into the House of Brainiac mini event Leah Williams Disappointing The best thing about the artwork is that it reminded me of Steven Universe which I actually am a fan of But as far as comic book art goes it was juvenile and felt wrong The story was pretty standard and formulaic A little dry Leah Williams
The Supergirls are trapped While tracking down the missing citizens of Metropolis Paige and Kara have found themselves powerless in the mythical realm of Ferembia They ll now have to rely on their wits to find an escape and the brains behind the whole operation before they re stuck in their own personal dark age Power Girl 2023 73. Girl power in children's literature pdf 5 Leah Williams I prefered the art from last issue 6 but this wasn t too much of a departure Williams gives us an entertaining short story with a lengthy introduction There is action and comedy mainly involving nipples and milk which adds to the levity already aided by the whimsical art Leah Williams This was not what I was expecting It was like Powergirl and Supergirl crossed with Alice in Wonderland It was very cutesy and seemingly aimed at a younger audience Leah Williams Leah Williams is an American writer originally from Oxford Mississippi She has written comics for Marvel BOOM Studios Vault Comics and is working on Her debut novel was a YA Fantasy book titled The Alchemy of Being Fourteen and she is currently writing its sequel The Divinity of Hitting Fifteen Leah has nonfiction articles and essays published in The Atlantic Oprah Magazine and Salon[1]
