The main thing that makes the story a bit difficult to read is that it isn t told from any point of view The author writes from the perspective of every character and we know what they all are thinking their opinions and their motivations which makes the plot a little lackluster If it s intended to be told from the perspective of one of the stepdaughters in particular it should only be from her POV Or if could alternate chapters with every other chapter being the perspective of one of the step sisters As it is currently written it isn t that far a distance from the original tale to this one other than some character revisions English A fresh take out on a long standing classic. I enjoyed this fresh telling of an old story The characters were well drawn and the story was engaging Definitely a fun the glass slipper is cursed English
