The story itself lulls you in slowly but hits hard about halfway through and doesn t let up until the end It s fast paced and gory but bits of humor weaved throughout And that bonus story The gory cherry on top. E Holding No spoilers 3 stars There had been suspicious sightings of someone lurking in the woods near the border of Royal LakeSheriff Birdseed and Deputy Wyatt were roaming the forest looking for the culpritThey heard rustling in the brushOff in the distance they saw something standing stiff as a board The thing stood there watching themIt had the reflective eyes of a wild animalSuddenlyIt darted off to the side and disappeared The two lawmen took off chasing it through the woodsIn the distanceThey saw a light and they went toward it like a moth to investigateThe light was a mine elevator light and they found themselves standing on an old engraved metal plate in the groundThe plate was centuries oldLike true hillbillies the men entered the old elevator and pushed the down button The ancient cables snapped and they plummeted all the way to the bottomThey were trapped in the mine soThey decided to explore the dark mine shaft They heard distant banjo music DELIVERANCE anyone and found a cave carved into the side of the shaftInside the cave was an old dirty mattress and a table with an ancient journal on top of itAs they were looking around a stranger smelling strongly of Coppertone sunscreen stepped out of the darkness and said Y all can call me Big GreasyThe first half of this story was very good but the second half was like it had been written by someone else Part 2 was very hard to follow and wasn t near as interesting as part 1 English This book was such a hoot I absolutely loved it It had vampires a couple breaking down on their way to a Tool concert love this band hella laughs and of course Coppertone Sunscreen which is a MUST for fair skinned beauties. I don t want to leave any spoilers so I ll keep this short If I were Kennedy I would probably kill Jace for making me miss a Tool concert That s one of my favorite bands Tickets sellout in minutes and cost quite a bit Not like ridiculous Taylor Swift BS but a lot for normal people. My only issue was the with the copy I read Maybe because it was an arc but it wasn t formatted well I was really confused sometimes when Wyatt and Birdseed were talking I had trouble knowing which one was talking I thought Adrienne was one of the guys girlfriend but turned out to be the other It could have been the epub reader I was using.
