Amazing characters this was absolutely perfect I loved finding out the backstory and lore behind some of my favourite characters AND EVEN SEEING ON OF MY FAV CHARACTERS FOR THE SECOND TIME since the last installation someone take this book away from me I m not doing ok rn It s been almost 3 months since I read this and I m still not over it we won t even talk about the main books in the series My only complaint was that it was over too soon I ll never not appreciate the opportunity to continuously repeat myself in all of my reviews for this word saying the exact same thing but I honestly never want to stop reading about this world and I m so sad that this book is already over It s genuinely.

The Lost Tomes of Zenafrost epublishing 5 stars I love the subtle connections to the first book and with the Bornbane series While novellas often explore different perspectives from the main storyline this one captivated me even with its entirely separate narrative focusing on characters from a prequel period It adds depth and emotions to the overall storyline especially knowing where certain of these characters end up in the main series Although I enjoyed the return of a certain character from Tome I and reading about the War Party which I was so looking forward to when I read the Bornbane series I felt that the story was missing something that it was incomplete While I appreciated learning about their backgrounds I wished for a bit insight into their lives during the battle the development of their friendships romances well pages about their times together I think it would ve make me connect with the trio even particularly since I m fond of stories where individuals form familial bonds despite starting as total strangers Nevertheless I like the way the author writes the style and the details she puts on such small actions definitely bring a good experience to my reading The Lost Tomes of Zenafrost Volume Two The Bornbane Series
