EPub A Kids' Book About beauty brands I received a temporary digital copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review A Kids Book About Beauty Sweet and supportive this book allows kids and their adults to rethink what beauty is and remind them that beauty is about what we are on the inside I loved the outro where Graham reminds the adults that in order to make habits stick they have to be doing it everyday and modeling ba dum tsk that behavior to their kiddos A Kids Book About Beauty Such a meaningful and effective book I want to give some serious credit to the author s choice to include the notes at the beginning and the end of the book The first note is one that encourages parents to read this WITH their kids This is wildly important because I think that if kids read this book on their own it wouldn t have the same impact On top of that if parents read this with their kids that leaves opportunity for parents to embed the teachings of this book into their kids minds because all of the points touched in this book are so so important in today s world Additionally the author told readers her story without making it too confusing or advanced She broke everything down into simpler sentences that are easier to comprehend and gave definitions where they made sense Bravo The only critique I have is I think that the design of the pages was a bit lacking There were no pictures which I understand might be a personal choice of the author but I found that it lowers the engagement level of the reader This is especially worthy to mention because this is a kids book Kids like books with pictures because it is entertaining and fun to them Overall though bravo to the author for writing such a crucial book for kids A Kids Book About Beauty
