EPub Alaskan thunderbolt I do wish it was a bit longer because there were some areas that could ve been expanded on instead of glossed over We also could have got a full smexy scene in here but they didn t add it in just a little one and mentions of other encounters Calvin is a grumpy pants and is dealing with a lot of hurt and loss just trying to hang on to the last bits of his father that he has left and keep himself afloat in a place he always wanted to leave In comes his next passenger who apparently just irks all his annoyance triggers He sees the kid as a nuisance and entitled especially since Zayne didn t follow the instructions for the baggage weight limits With a storm coming in Calvin just wants to get up in the air and get this passenger to their destination as soon as possible Zayne just broke up with boyfriend manager a month ago and spearheading going on this trip to Alaska for a month to be away and clear his head He met his manager Leaf when he was 18 Leaf was 40 and they have been dating for 8 years but Leaf was a jerk and micromanaged Zayne s whole life Zayne had been mentally done with the relationship for a while but only recently left the man but kept him on as his manager so complicated These two are already off on the wrong foot upon meeting so their plane ride will be stilted During their journey the storm picks up and the added weight to the plane can t handle the maneuvering causing them to crash in the Alaskan wilderness They were lucky to survive but Calvin did end up injured from the crash They are now in an isolated area with nothing but what they could find from Zayne s scattered luggage spending about a month trying to survive There s lots of blaming and arguing in the beginning but they find their way with each other Overtime they get to know each other form a bond and work together to try and find a way out then back home The bear encounters were quite dangerous and detailed It s a wonder neither of them had a heart attack Overall for realies But the romance sort of made it not good Like I love a good achillian love story that s not a secret But this one just wasn t necessary It also wasn t very believable everything was just soooooo convenient I m also 200% sure you can t just wrestle a grizzly bear and only walk away with a scratch on your arm And I m also pretty sure grizzly bears are hibernating in the winter Just too much easy ness for the characters in such an extreme predicament I think that s why I didn t love this book honestly.
