When deprived of love 5 out of 5 stars rounded up to 4 for this review Jessica Ziegler It is heartbreaking to read military stories like this one but it won me over with the storyline and with all the characters I would definitely love to read in the series See how the series develops I fell in love with all the characters and what they were going through and it really made me think of my fiance who is military I just fell in love with this story Jessica Ziegler This book I went into blind as didn t remember what it was about It starts with Rob and Ellie falling in love and spending time together before Ellie is off on her first mission Just before the mission Ellie and her second in command and best friend Ava head off and are stopped by the security team which turns out to be run by Axel Ellie s ex and a bad seed He was abusive towards Ellie and a sore loser and made her feel like she was nothing During the first day of the mission the convoy hits an IED and is blown up This ends up with some of the team dying and the rest ending up in hospital Ellie is in a medically induced coma and Ava has been burned over most of her body and looks like she may lose her arm Rob heads to the hospital but as he is her boyfriend he doesn t have any rights as her next of kin Someone else though wants the hospital to believe he is Ellie s fiance Axel of course he has a nasty ulterior motive While Rob and Axel are on the outside with their story Ellie s story also includes her internal dialogue and talks about the first time she met Axel to their ending of the relationship and getting him kicked out of the military to meet Rob her GI Joe and forever man We also see the beginning of Ava s story as Rob visits her and we see sparks flying between Ava and her Dr Reynolds If you love military romances love triangles and justice with a hint of romantic suspense then check out Love is Deceiving by these two great authors Jessica Ziegler Love is Deceiving By Dr Jessica Jude Ziegler and Jacqueline Farrugia Massotto I am so grateful for the opportunity to ARC read and review this story happilybookedpr and smartcookiephiles Since I am a mood reader it took me a bit to get into the story I had to get into the right frame of mind because I knew it was going to be an emotional ride This story touched on so many aspects of the military and was told in a respectful manner There were moments when I was confused regarding the timelines but other than that I felt it all Thank you for telling this story Military Service Love triangle Bad Omens Bada FMC Found FamilyIn a twist of fate Army Commander Rob Stevens finds love with Ellie Walker a US Marine grappling with lost memories from her combat injury As their bond strengthens an ominous presence emerges Ellie s ex Axel seeks to exploit her amnesia and reclaim her for his own gain aiming to pilfer her inheritance a ranch in Wyoming Will Rob s devotion be enough to shield Ellie from Axel s relentless pursuit and help her reclaim her past Will the battle for love overcome treachery Follow this gripping tale of twists and turns to answer the ultimate question Is love enough Jessica Ziegler This was such a good book I love how the main female characters were able to work through their injuries I loved hearing their growth and how they found their men This was a book that tuggs on your heart If you re looking for a book about romance and military this is the book for you Jessica Ziegler
