The colours of the olympic rings Each book is episodic so each solves one goal initiated and the trilogy so far adds to our global knowledge of the main core story Dew s journey to understand why humans are gone She keeps funding remnants only a few daily life objects lost in the world and broken technology In this 3rd volume we get a lot answers to the core plot but also we follow the start of something that culminates in a revolution. The colours of the sunzine This is the type of book that has a lot of complex world building on many levels and you will want to go back and reread it to catch up on extra details or to revive some of your favorite characters It starts light then adds a whole cast of fantastic characters humor tension love interest mean and greedy characters uncovering past and funny ones towards an epic ending including robots and talking pans yes they have rights. The colours of the sun book review A coming of age story Dew is always growing and improving She is the type of character who always has strength and courage to help others than she has the confidence to help herself We look at the world and all we see is what we don t have instead of finding what we need. The colours of the sun epub ebook free download Every chapter includes illustrations English This isn t a bad book however because it s part of a series I m finding it difficult Personally I found it a little tricky to understand the motives of the characters and to understand why those characters are in the part of this fantastical world they inhabit I found it difficult to engage with them and really care for their actions without the understanding of the earlier plot and setting One of the comments I want to make about this book is the fact that it s the third in a series That may sound insignificant many books are later installments in series My point is that this is a series best read in sequence I think I d be enjoying it having read the others in this series and having got a wider understanding on the world and the characters than I m able to glean from what s told in The Colours of the Sun I haven t come across any spelling or grammar issues And I enjoyed the way that characters were written which was also helped by the illustrations within the book itself which allowed me to better understand what the characters looked like I enjoyed the way that the characters are different than what is usually portrayed in the sense that in fantasy you still often find humans in those scenarios and worlds This has both humans and the Feilish I found nothing wrong with this book in terms of the way it s been editing nor with the writing of the dialogue plot or characters and I found the pacing to be reasonable With that being said I personally didn t enjoy the book as much as I have with others I award this book 4 stars English I thoroughly enjoyed this book set in the colourful and immersive city of Varla I was drawn into Nick s stunningly described world from the beginning and the words alone are like a painting on the page not to mention the gorgeous illustrations The myths and folklore are woven neatly together with the politics of Varla creating an intricate backdrop for quite the quirky cast of characters Those characters though many of them were from an entirely imaginary species felt relatable and believable ranging from the embarrassing mum and the teasing best friend to the awkward teenagers embarking on their first romance and discovering their place in the world This coming of age adventure is full of learning growing than a tinge of threat and bittersweetness and a bucket load of hilarious dialogue that had me laughing aloud on public transport literally every scene with the robots A brilliantly entertaining read English I already know this one is going to be a 5 For the author s journeys love for his characters and story This cover is my fav Congrats looking forward to reading it English Another trip to the realm of Feilahn a poignant and funny take on human issues beautifully steeped in escapist fantasy This book can either be read as a standalone or part of their trilogy found here LinkThis time we re in the sprawling river run city of Varla and the author has really come into their own with their characters Their writing feels so self assured there is absolutely no time wasted The jokes are snappy the social commentary on identity autonomy and freedom bitingly topical This book is loaded to the gills with LGBTQAi lead characters and a slow burn non heterosexual romance you can eat up with a dessert spoon if that s your sorta thing This book is for everyone who has ever felt unseen by the big fantasy writers of the day there is someone in this book who will speak to you I promise Give this one a try you won t be disappointed English
