Today site_link This book got my attention the moment it mentioned New York on its title since I been obsessed with this city for years Eden and Lucas just wanted to succeed in their career which is absolutely wonderful because to love someone else you have to be happy in what you do Elena Goudelias did an amazing job capturing the reader attention I absolutely loved how Lucas tried to help somebody he didn t know it was absolutely beautiful seeing somebody help her to fulfill her dreams. Contemporary Before New york city Eden and Lucas helped each other realize what actually matters and how they loved each other At the end of the day I loved how they mentioned New York I love that city so much it doesn t matter how many times I go I still loved it every single thing about this book This book is so well written and so well detailed This book is a must read I totally recommend it Elena Goudelias My father once told me that it s possible to change without losing the best parts of you That even if you move on to bigger and better things.

It doesn t mean you need to forget where you came from Before New York follows Elena and Lucas in alternating POVs The book focuses on following your dreams while learning to not lose who you really are in the long run This book shows how people change themselves and lose sight of what really matters Family The main characters show each other that they can still follow their dreams and not be workaholics To spend time with those around you. I think you ll enjoy this. Before New York pdf book Thank you to the author for an ARC copy Elena Goudelias With this story I m kinda left wanting of something The story itself was okay but I feel like something s missing I think Lucas and Eden were decent characters Individually you got to see a pieces of their personalities but there s still a lot I feel could have been explored here For the most part we just got to see the workaholic trait they both have and how much this dominates their lives While there s little moments here and there with them sharing other personality traits they don t get as much exposure as being a workaholic For this being a romance there wasn t much romance in it In all honesty I can think of a handful of romantic gestures that either of these characters did for the other I think if there was romantic gestures and dialogue I could understand the connection between these two but it comes across insta love This book overall wasn t a win for me but had some good things here and there I do think others would enjoy this so give it a try if you are looking for a new way to support a indie author Elena Goudelias

ARC Review loved the description of NY the overall integration of characters the story sucked me in Elena Goudelias I ate this book UP First of all the reverse hallmark I ve had such a similar thought before and I love the way Elena took the story We ve also got a shared love of 90s music showing each other their fave spots forced proximity and NO third act breakup which is SUCH a win This story follows Lucas an incredibly driven corporate lawyer and Eden a freelance legal writer after a not so meet cute when collaborating on a project After the slightly rough start Lucas reaches out to Eden with an opportunity and he helps her prepare for it He in turn asks her to help him prioritize his life a little bit It was so fun to watch them put their faith in each other without realizing they were headed for their HEA I love the tension created with each MCs family too especially since it was clear they loved and only wanted the best for the MCs And the big scene at the end My entire heart Shoutout to Grace Edens BFF also she is me and I am her rooting for the FMC to get her man in the end I would def recommend snagging this one when it releases on 03.
