It s very warm in here The intense romantic scenes of these two are very similar to Rose and Jack s scenes from the movie and they lead to some pretty swoon worthy moments that I will let you read The tragedy of the sinking was handled incredibly well by the characters like Molly Brown who demands that her way goes during the rescue of survivors after the sinking Charles and Murdoch work in tandem to get the women and children onto the vessels and he is trying to focus on the task at hand while worrying for Sybil and hoping she gets on the ship It made you think of the difficulty of the situation and the confusion of all these people trying to survive From the jump to the frigid water that Sybil and Charles are in for hours.

Heartbreak and happiness. Ship of Dreams epubor I don t want to give too much away with Charles and Sybil together but I will say that I loved how Charles was with her and how committed he was to his choices in life He has good depth of character and is a perfect match for Sybil They had there little spicy moments and I absolutely loved how Kelsey was able to give an adult love scene without being super descriptive or give me the ick They were tasteful and naughty and I appreciate that so much Although this story is about second chances and romance my favorite part of it was the friendship between Sybil and Lady Iris Sybil knew her role as a lady s maid but kept Lady Iris in her heart as a true friend and it was great to see how they complimented each other both in normal life and on the ship The entire story was well rounded and had great pacing I look forward to reading about Lady Iris and maybe an update on Sybil and Charles If you like historical romance.

This fantastic historical fiction about the Titanic was spectacular A second chance romance with dual pov s a character you absolutely love to LOATHE I m looking at you Lewis and strong female friendships I utterly adore Charles The dynamic of the relationship between him and Sybil was great kept me on my toes and rooting for them Clearly I know how it ended for the Titanic but once they struck the iceberg I was STRESSED for Sybil Charles and Iris Looking forward to book 2 259 Firstly I want to thank Kelsey Painter the author for allowing me to be an ARC reader for this book When it comes to the story of the Titanic I Like many others find myself enraptured by the story of Titanic and the romance of the ocean liner but also cognizant of the tragedy of the ship s story I like the author enjoy learning about the story and the people who lived and died during its tragedy When reading the book thought she respected the facts of the story while creating a beautiful love story between two characters Following Sybil who grows up in the Yorkshire countryside and works as a lady s maid to Iris an English woman who is married to a wealthy American man who saved her family from ruin She is dedicated to Iris and helps her in her choice to remain childless by acquiring the herbs needed With this addition I find she handles a true part of women s history in a manner that is respectful and done very well Iris and Sybil create an incredibly strong bond together that is easy to see happen between people in that situation These two work together to handle the extreme behaviors of Lewis the American husband of Iris who is very demanding of her having children When the three embark on a trip to America via the Titanic As readers who know the story we already know that the story ends in tragedy but it is still difficult to think of that as Sybil runs into her childhood friend who she s always harbored feelings for The reunion between the two had me literally kicking my feet giggling while eating lunch at work I mean who wouldn t want to be picked up and spun around by a handsome man in an officer uniform Sign me up These two pick up almost exactly where they drop off and all at the encouragement of Iris The romance is dripping off these characters and while I felt at some times it was slightly rushed I still enjoyed every single minute of it When an altercation between Sybil and Lewis goes haywire Charles is the first to step up and demand he unhands her Get Your Hands Off Her I m sorry it brings into mind the intense need for survival The desperation of Charles needing Sybil to survive tugs on the heartstrings and keeps you thinking that there is a chance she won t survive When she wakes up the reunion is just so romantic I need you Giggles Holy crap insert the tears and me trying not to wake up my sleeping boyfriend I hope that everyone who reads this book enjoys the story and the romance while also acknowledging the truth to the story and the desperate survival that goes along with the fiction 259 4. Ship of dreamsky 5 5 2 5 Thanks to Kelsey Painter for the advance copy I love the concept of a historical romance set during the disaster of the Titanic and this did not disappoint It has very Downton Abbey vibes while also portraying the sinking of the Titanic in a very real way My only real criticism is I felt the book could be longer I think it was tough to strike a balance between developing the romance and incorporating the disaster into the story While the author did a really great job of this I felt the romance could have been fleshed out a little It just seemed very abrupt That being said this book was super enjoyable I was on the edge of my seat and I didn t know whether the couple would have a happy ending or not I definitely recommend and I can t wait to read Lady Iris story 259 This was such a fantastic read Painter managed to weave a unique gripping storyline into the behemoth that is the Titanic All the while honoring the historical significance of the past I couldn t put this book down Unexpectedly reuniting on the Titanic separated childhood friends Sybil Charles make the most of their spare time together These two have one of the sweetest love stories I ve ever read They re playful have such fun banter but still deeply respectful of each other Reading their journey to each other between their youth ultimately into adulthood was a treasure Without giving much away there s a side plot that keeps you on your toes I m not talking about the ship where we meet Lady Iris I adored the friendship between Sybil Iris I need to see of it Can we get of their shenanigans because there s a prank they pull that had me cackling 259 If you know me you know l ve been obsessed with Titanic since I was a little girl This was no exception I loved this. Ship of Dreams kindle paperwhite There s a pretty ghastly villain that can give Cal Hockley from the movie a run for his money There s so much suspense built into the dramatic irony from the very beginning I absolutely loved that this followed a member of the Titanic crew It s not a version of the story that s often highlighted To avoid spoilers the only thing I ll say about the end is that it wasn t what I anticipated I really enjoyed this one 259

Ship of dreamsday spa The book follows Sybil and her life as a lady s maid to Lady Iris and how it leads her to board the fated ship and have Charles back in her life It has the right mix of history with people who were actually aboard the Titanic as well as the fiction element with Sybil Iris and Charles Sybil is a great MC and she is relatable having gone through her share of hardship second chance stories or the titanic then you will really enjoy Sybil and Charles s story Thank you Kelsey for the opportunity to read this before release 259 Wow I absolutely loved this First thank you Kelsey for the ARC I think unlike most who picked this up I wasn t a huge Titanic fan growing up the romance just never felt real enough to me This though Far surpassed my expectations The romance between Sybil and Charles was real and beautiful It gave whirlwind romance without any annoying tropes and their history together was beautifully woven in Even though we all know what ultimately happens to Titanic I think Kelsey did an amazing job of telling it in a way that didn t feel overdone or rehashed I was anxious the entire time and loved every minute Iris and Sybil s relationship was so well done I love some strong female main characters I can t wait to find out what happens to Iris after Overall Kelsey s writing just gets better and better and I m so excited to see what she puts out next 259 Thank you for selecting me to be an ARC reader All thoughts and opinions are my own Wow Wow WOW An easy 5 star read This story was my most anticipated read for 2024 so far and it exceeded all expectations Being a 90s child anything Titanic related calls to me I think it s an obligation for us to be hyper fixated on it Kelsey did such a great job bringing this story to life Sybil and Charles may have Jack and Rose beat as my favorite couple Friends to lovers is a favorite trope of mine and this is a perfect example of it Their love for one another drove this story and kept me going even throughout all the sinking anxiety Did anyone else only watch the first VHS tape as a child and refuse to watch tape 2 iykyk Kelsey did such a great job capturing Titanic its historical figures the devastation surrounding it and the hope I felt as if I was watching the movie while reading it in the best way Even knowing the Titanic sinks I was still nervous reading it not knowing the outcomes of the characters Trust me keep reading I loved everything about this and am already looking forward to Lady Iris s story next 259 Um an Upstairs Downstairs Titanic love story with an actual HEA Give 259 I have always been fascinated with history of the Titanic so when I received the ARC for Ship of Dreams I started reading immediately This book this story it brought tears to my eyes I love a book with strong female characters and this one definitely doesn t disappoint The story of Sybil and Charles is one you won t want to put down I was kicking my feet laughing screaming crying Kelsey did an amazing job at keeping true to Titanic s history and tragic losses while also presenting a truly beautiful and compelling love story 259
