Between never and forever pdf but it was also really clear there was so much going on between them And I honestly loved their interactions The angry ones and the sweet ones I really enjoyed how different these two characters where But the one thing they had in common was the way they loved deeply The setting of Calico Cove was just as great as I remembered from the previous book in the series I read and I loved the side characters almost as much as the main characters The whole reason for the break up wasn t my favorite and the way Matt seemed to stop hating Carrie almost right away felt a bit strange to me. Lucy score books forever never Carrie is back in her small hometown to film a Christmas movie and start a family But her high school sweetheart turned enemy is everywhere in this town making her furious and a little off kilter She doesn t want to see him can t even stand him and Matt isn t any happier seeing her Every time they re in the same area it turns into a fight and ends with the same question from Matt asking when she s leaving But she owes him nothing and it s not his business that what she wants than anything is to take some down time and have a baby Unfortunately the opposite of hate is love and a night of finally caving in to the chemistry they still share ends up giving her exactly what she wanted a baby Now Matt is talking forever but how can she ever trust him again after the way he broke every promise they d ever made along with her heart right out of high school This is one of those books where trying to do what you think is right for someone breaks hearts all the way around I definitely see where Matt was coming from breaking up with Carrie his heart was in the right place and he absolutely did it because he loved her but the fall out was pretty brutal It s also a great story that shows how being young and making hard choices doesn t always give you the full picture because you re not in that head space But Matt definitely redeems himself in so many ways through the whole book He has undeniable chemistry with Carrie and I love that both of them never really let go of each other it s so cute A super enjoyable read that gives you all the sweet some of the spice and a really great HEA Paperback I was kindly sent Never Forever as an ARC by the author but this is an honest review and all opinions are my own this is book 7 in the Calico Cove series but can be read as a standalone Never Forever is set for release on 7th March okay wow I enjoyed this a lot than I expected to Matt and Carrie have been known to despise each other throughout the prior 6 books but nobody knew why this story THEIR story has been highly anticipated and I can t believe it s taken until book 7 for it all to come out. Forever never book the use of flashbacks introduced us to the pair when they first met all the way through to the day Matt broke Carrie s heart and it provided really nice background it was written in a way that kept the story flowing I didn t want to skip forward through the flashback to get back to the story and I really enjoyed the insight into both parties feelings I didn t anticipate liking Carrie as much as I did for a long time up until about the 60% mark of Never Forever I thought she was unnecessarily cruel to Matt and that she was a little bit irritating Matt was just quiet he was never really spoken about other than in the context of Carrie and it was nice to see and get to know HIM in this novel. Forever never book when it all came together okay YEAH WOW it was so special surprise pregnancy has never been one of my favourite tropes but in this case it was written EXCELLENTLY I loved the fact that both Matt and Carrie did everything they could to make sure they weren t bringing a child into this world with parents like they had they really grew up which feels weird to say about actual adults but they did and it was great to read about. Forever never book I felt that subconsciously they both wanted that second chance and that s why none of them did anything to prevent the pregnancy They still uncovered secrets between them but Matt finally knew that Carrie was his forever The attraction was stronger than ever and ther love scenes after that were just so so hot The steam and the smut were everything that I expected and I really enjoyed reading them. Forever never book I still prefer the fact that they needed communication with one another After all they will have a baby together and I have the feeling that lots of things are left unsaid between them I would also prefer for the book to be longer and see Matt grovel I still expected Carrie to stand up to her mother After all this dream of acting wasn t Carrie s it was her mother.
