Book Liebe finden konjugation HEA Don t quite believe it This is short and I am not looking forward to the series The H pushes the h away twice The first time he just leaves the cabin to patrol the area and that was after their first sexual encounter when she was vulnerable she basically humped him in her sleep but he enjoyed it He comes back after she cleans his cabin thinking that is what she does when her aunt is mad at her He comes in and when she apologizes he profusely apologizes to her and I thought that part was palatable and even sweet The next time after she loses her virginity to him she asked to get to town for internet to blog and to check on things so he is cold to her and drives her to town not talking to her when she tries to ask if she did anything to upset him he says No She is in tears and says she will be at the coffee house for an hour if he wants to join her What angered me is that he thinks that she needs than a cabin and he can t give her that and he is damaged bla bla but he is so selfish that he forgets that SHE is damaged and needs his love and care Instead of being an asshole she decided to face her PTSD with sunshine and happiness what does he do He let her heal him and took her virginity only to throw her away He said he regretted it as soon as she went to her car so that means he was ready to drop her off never to see her again during the whole car ride to town He did think he was stupid to do that and went to her right away at the coffee house seeing her in tears and promising her internet and a new room to be her office and just to move in with himthat he loves her and wants a life with her and he is sorry for how he reacted She hugs him forgives him they are happy and all is well. Chick Lit Liebe finden sie He was making over an old mining town and was going to get a cell tower installed and his buddies were going to move in and build homes of their own Why didn t he just tell her to stay and he will do all these things for her he was going to do them anyways Pushing her away the first time is forgivable but the second time killed the romance for me because that is his go to He feels his emotions threatened Throw away the problem What angered me was 2 months later in the epilogue she tells him she is pregnant he is happy but stunned so she folds into herself and is nervous he doesn t want a baby He then sees his stupid stunned face is giving her the impression he isn t happy and quickly tells her he is happy and kisses her belly which I admit was cute What bothered me was that she still is unsure of his feelings for her Otherwise she would not have felt unsure and scare of his reaction and who can blame her he pushed her away twice when she was at her most vulnerable their first sexual encounter and the second time when they first had sex so of course she is nervous She shouldn t be she should feel safe with him. Liebe finden Chick liter I don t believe in the HEA even in the epilogue where it seems like years later with kids and their friends and their kids and all is sunshine and happiness all I thought of was how many times did he leave her because of whatever reason Probably plenty. Book Liebe finden synonym He was sweet and loving to her when he didn t throw her away and I loved that part of him but this emotional whiplash was just a lot Not all veterans scarred with PTSD are assholes that hurt the woman they fall in love with and that is a trope that seems to be insensitive and overused Some do have nightmares and feel inadequate but that is where the romance comes in and he is healed by her love When he would normally lash out turn it around and write that he can t lash out at the love of his life because her love for him and his love foe her is a balm of healing Throw away the pushing away coldly trope and replace it with a scene where when he feels lost in his panic attack and he starts shaking she hugs him and fiercely hugs her back soaking up her love and care But don t then ruin it with him pushing her away and ignoring her letting her stew in confusion and sadness just to get some angst in the story In this case he should feel sympathy for HER trauma and when he sees her feel anxious and nervous he pulls her in his arms to show her that she is safe with him which he does So when he resorts to pushing her away rather than have an epic I love you moment it soured the romance and sweetness he had for her. to get out of her sleeping bag and off the side of the mountain Ari rolls downhill in her sleeping bag with her backpack and blankets Ari smashes into a tree her ankle and shin wedged between a tree and she hangs upside down Ari hears someone heading in her direction she screams until she can t scream any Wilder tells her to calm down he s trying to help but Ari tells him she comes in peace if he s a lost soul looking to cross she can help Wilder tells her he s not the one lost she s on private property Wilder gets the tent free from around Ari and she falls into his arms When Ari scrambles out of his arms she yelps in pain when she puts her foot down Wilder offers to take her back to his cabin to look at her ankle then she can rest up for the night before she s on her way Wilder introduces himself and tells her he a former Army Ranger and has field medic experience When Ari introduces herself she lies but Wilder knows she s is and thinks she s adorable Wilder scoops her up in his arms and carry her back to his cabin Wilder asks her what hurt and she lies and tells him nothing Wilder calls her out on the lies so Ari tells him her ankle and she has a headache Ari ask Wilder if he knows any ghost stories but he doesn t so she tells him one Wilder wonders why she visits dangerous places Wilder tells Ari about his unit he was in charge of when they went on a mission that almost killed his best friend Wilder takes Ari to his bed in the corner of the one room cabin grabs the first aid kit and wraps her ankle Wilder tells Ari to take his bed and he ll sleep on the floor When Ari protest he tells her he s slept in worst places but he build his cabin Wilder tells her about his buddies that will be moving to build their own places in the old mining town Ari asks him to tells her what they re going to do but she falls asleep and Wilder smiles for the first time in forever and drifts off to sleep Ari wakes up to a muffled sound followed by another louder The night before finally comes back to Ari When she leans over the bed to see if Wilder is okay she realizes he s having a nightmare Ari reaches out and strokes his skin after a moment he relaxes then blinds his eyes open Ari tells him he s okay and that it was just a dream Ari suggest he climb into bed with her and she ll teach him some muscle relaxation techniques to try to calm down and get back to sleep Wilder wants to know why she had nightmares Ari tells him if he climbs into bed she ll tell him Ari tells Wilder about losing her parents in a car accident when she was seven reports of recent fires that were controlled Wilder tells her the fires were to clear the brush in the construction area Ari confesses her whole story is a bust but she got some amazing sketches on the hike When Ari tells him she needs to get back down the mountain Wilder tells her to stay Ari tells him she doesn t want to be in his way Wilder tells her that she won t be he s not going to drop an injured woman off alone in the wilderness Ari tells him she it s a paved parking lot she stored her car for safety Wilder tells her to stay one night so she can t show him the relaxation thing again When Wilder wakes the next day he realizes that Ari is on top of him and she s straddling him gently rocking herself up and down Ari calls Wilder s name and he tries to control himself before he explodes Right before Ari s orgasm hits her eyes fly open Wilder tells her to come for him Ari leans in and kisses Wilder before she comes then goes limp in his arms Ari apologize to him but Wilder tells her there s realizes she s been crying Wilder tells her he s having wi fi installed on the mountain and cell towers He ll drive her to town everyday if she needs him to until they have internet He ll build her her own office and the cabin needs an upgrade storage Ari asks him what he s getting wifi and extra storage Wilder tells her he loves her Ari asks him if he s setting up his place so she can still write and conduct research Wilder tells her he s not good at relationships he doesn t want to hurt her and drag her down Ari tells him it s perfect she loves him too she feels it deep in her soul They begin kissing until someone asks they to take it to the parking lot Wilder bends and picks up Ari and he knows she likes it when he carries her When they get back to the cabin they pleasures one the story Wilder and ex Army Ranger has bought himself an abandoned mining town after being discharged from the Army He s battling guilt and PTSD over an ambush when his fellow brothers were killed and injured as well as some civilians He only sees the failure not the fact that his team saved 30 people He likes his peace and solitude at least until some of his brothers leave the military and join him in making the town their home.
