How to Steal a Galaxy brings Rian back into Ada s orbit When a high stakes charity gala meant to bring life saving technology back to Earth is threatened by the very person in charge I m really enjoying the creativity in this novella series It s silly fun and mysterious Ada is a mastermind I have no idea what she s planning half the time There wasn t too much romance or tension in this one but I really liked the banter I m hooked with the setup for the third book really looking forward to it Thank you DAW for the review copy 0756419484 How to Steal a Galaxy has been able to keep most of the momentum that it had in Full Speed To a Crash Landing I highly recommend reading that one first this shouldn t be read as a standalone Ada finds herself in a heist at a gala following solely her own secret agenda And of course Rian is also attending I still wouldn t call this a romance but I have grown to accept their odd relationship. Book How to Steal a galaxy tab After the surprising twist at the end of the last book I was really interested in seeing how Rian would react to seeing Ada again They have such amazing chemistry but lies subterfuge distrust and opposing political views are some hefty obstacles for the pair to face I love their banter and the sexual tension between them and I can t wait to see what happens with them in the next story What really stands out in this novella is Ada She s a complex and fascinating protagonist with a quick wit and sharp intellect Morally grey and than a little shady Ada isn t the most reliable narrator as she always seems to be hiding something but that s part of the fun of the story you never know what she s going to do next or what her real intentions are. Science Fiction Fantasy How to Steal a galaxy s7 5 starsFull review to come I received an ARC from Edelweiss and the publisher thank you in exchange for an honest review 0756419484 Not as strong as the first one novella in this series I m not sure whether that was because there was less going on or because the character of Ada and the way she thinks and hides things was already established We did get to see Rian and her interacting again for a second time so that was probably the strongest part of it But even soAda has been paid to be at a conference in order to steal an unnamed rare item Rian is basically there because he knows she will be and from his previous interactions with her knows she needs to be watched very carefully He doesn t know what the mark is only that there is one This follows seamlessly on from the first novella where she stole the prototype for a planet cleaning nanobot The problem with it was that it was specifically designed to malfunction in order for the person who created it to be paid each time he needed to be brought in for the fix Unlike last novella this one happens both on an actual planet and in the course of a single night a single event Perhaps that s the reason it felt less built up and like less was going on Honestly the whole thing read like one long scene despite the chapter breaks At the end Ada gets what she wants because she is the smartest person in the room and is paid highly to get what she wants Does it matter that she did it her own way rather than in the way that she was paid to complete the mission Not sure I guess that s what the final installment in this series will show us 0756419484 Hello I m here today to tell you that I adored this little book I ate up every second of Full Speed to a Crash Landing as well and this one delivers all the same delicious morsels What a fun little series This book features the most unhinged date night yes I m calling it that I m Team Ada obviously at a space and tech MET gala Ada and Rian s dynamic is keeping me fed for real for real The nice guy who thinks things will work if you do them the right way vigilante con artist who only does things her own way vibes are so wonderful I could read 100 little books of these two playing cat and mouse across space and not get tired of it Alongside all of this tension and banter we also have plots to both destroy and save Earth which are also interesting and it s cool to see the different ways these are approached I really like the way that Revis has built up this future version of our world and the challenges that have come with advancement and climate Big big fan of these If you re looking for fun little adventures that actually do have in reality very high stakes check these out 5 from me Can t wait to get physical copies and show them off Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the earc of this book 0756419484
