Protective men and the sassy women that keep them on their toes This story also has the edgy feel of the previous books in this MC that keep me coming back for Josephine Joe Booker and Johnny Hawk Mann share a bond of knowing her brother Andrew Hawk served in the military with Andrew and knew he was suffering after his return to civilian life but neither he nor his sister knew how bad it was Hawk found peace and brotherhood with the Knights that helped him heal and Joe is just trying to keep her dream business afloat and pay her bills They have a connection that dates back and is growing now that they are spending time and grieving together This book has a few surprises and a touch of danger but mostly it is about the love story that is developing between Joe and Hawk and I was thrilled to be along for the ride Janine Infante Bosco This is the fifth book in this incredible series.
So she just threw a pregnancy into the mix Crossover series Silver s Bullet Northern Grizzlies MC Book 9 by M Merin is tied in with this one. The characters are boring and cliche The story development is non existent We are told everything and shown nothing I went to the store I warmed up the frozen pizza I bought After dinner we didn t talk about shit She led me into her bedroom where she gave me the best blowjob. This is just lazy writing Still there is inconsistencies and terrible editing and formatting errors This one is worse than the other three books One thing So apparently book 4 Deliver Us From Evil is Capone and Tara s book Which do not exist anywhere I think it is a shame that the author chooses to reveal the entire story line from their book in this one it s a huge spoilers that I.
Especially when I don t even have the opportunity to read the book And it is also revealed in this book that Birdie s cousin Emmy died in book 4 Janine Infante Bosco I received a copy of this book from the publisher author to review for Stephanie s Book Reports. This book at times will grab you by the throat and have you tearing up This is the story of Hawk and Jo Hawk served in the military and has seen things that nightmares are made of When he comes back home he really struggles but sure does not want to admit it However while in Afghanistan his lifeline was the letters he was receiving from Jo Now that he is home he is focused on his business and the club However.
4. 7 starsThis is the fifth book in The Satan s Knights MC North Carolina series and it gives readers Johnny aka Hawk and Jo s story Johnny has been through some stuff as a man who is ex military and managed to find a way to reacclimate himself into society Jo is struggling to make ends meet when her world gets upended and she reaches out to Johnny to help her The chemistry between the two is like a slow burn as Jo has difficulty letting someone in but they take readers on an emotional roller coaster The author did a wonderful job dealing with the affliction of PTSD that some Veterans deal with upon their return This book will make you laugh cry and pull your heartstrings when all is said and done It s another great addition to a stellar series Janine Infante Bosco I m glad this book shows what veterans go through when they return from war It s hard for them to accept help for PTSD and let anyone know they are struggling That s what Jo s brother went through And like Jo Andrews sister she didn t know how bad he was Johnny served with and new he was troubled but wouldn t accept help Johnny is part of the club and they have their own troubles going on HEA for now Janine Infante Bosco Cross To Bear Book 5 in this amazing series kept me on the edge throughout the whole book As usual JIB pulls you into her world and you never want to leave One of the things that I love about her style is that she always brings the family in You get to see your favorite characters and get caught up on their lives It truly is a world unto itself This one made me ugly cry and made my heart break and then soar There are parts that made you feel that you were there especially if you ve been to a Night with The Knights and are a part of the TNT world Absolutely amazing I am excited to read the counter part to this duet and learn about those grizzlies Janine Infante Bosco Cross to Bear book five in The Satan s Knights MC North Carolina continues the Kinght s tradition of strong and this is Johnny Hawk and Josephine Jo s journey. While Johnny was in Afghanistan his buddy s sister Jo sent him care packages as she did with her brother and this gave him a reason to keep going when he started to lose hope Now Jo has her own demons haunting her and Johnny is determined to be there for her as she was for him. This is a well written story which is ana action packed emotional roller coaster with family friendships danger suspense intrigue sacrifices chaos humor witty banter engaging and relatable characters undeniable chemistry challenges loyalty heartbreak and love which leads to an entertaining twisted tragic haunting and steamy addictive page turner. No one that is but me Cross To Bear The Satan s Knights MC North Carolina Book Five The Satan s Knights MC North Carolina 5 Soooo slow until you get to the 60% mark then the story takes a turn and we are introduced to a new MC Northern Grizzlies MC It will become their story as well as The Satan s Knights MC New York for pretty much the rest of the book So you actually sit and are totally confused because an insane amount of characters are introduced 20 in addition to the 10 you already have from the book that you don t know about and you have to keep track of And in the last 30% of the book it s pretty much just them but then I think it dawned on the author that she forgot to include the two main characters as a reader get annoyed by thoughts of what happened when he was in Afghanistan come back to him daily and he really is struggling I don t know that I should tell you than that because I felt like going in blind to what was going to happen in this book was the best way to go The MC parts will keep you on edge but you will laugh and cry while swooning a time or twenty I really loved these characters and this story I can t wait to see whose story we get next Janine Infante Bosco This book was hard to rate I m struggling w how to write my review The blurb had me excited to read it But I don t think the book lived up to what I was expecting It was an MC but really no MC action happens It s mainly focused on Johnny Jo s relationship Which isn t a bad thing but they never discussed why Johnny just disappeared years prior I would ve thought that would be an important topic for them to address since a lot of Jo s struggles w trusting Johnny came f how he treated her in the past And I was expecting maybe surrounding her brother s death In the beginning I thought maybe the detective would rule his death as homicide not suicide a lot of the book would be about them finding out who killed her brother why Another thing that threw me was at around 70% a lot of new characters were all of sudden thrown in there was a kidnapping not related to Jo or Johnny It just seemed off to have 70% of the book solely focused on 2 main characters then throw club drama in And I didn t like the abrupt ending One minute Johnny is helping to find the missing kid then a new chapter begins w Jo 2 pages later it s over Just like that It didn t feel right The last thing I m left with is it says this is the 5th book in the series on Goodread has the prior books listed but on it says book 1 no other books in the series Honestly I would ve rated this a 2. 5 but I did like Jo Johnny a lot they had some pretty steamy moments Janine Infante Bosco NopeI found this book after reading a series written by M Merin One of Merin s books was supposedly tied in with this one. It s pure laziness Ugh Janine Infante Bosco Another WinnerThis book took me on a crazy rollercoaster ride of emotions and gave me a look in to what it was like for soldiers coming home from war While there when Hawk was getting low it was his buddy s sister Jo who would send care packages not only to her brother but Hawk as well When returning home he has his club brothers from the Satan s Knights MC at his back: During my tour in Afghanistan I was fully prepared to be one of them: Letters from my buddy s sister full of tethers to the lives we left behind, Little did she know she kept me going even when I started to lose hope: She s drowning in the chaos that follows every soldier home from war. I stopped reading at the 38% mark The typos and grammatical errors are abundant and I couldn t stand it Editing should not be an oversight: Through many struggles Hawk and Jo find their way together Janine Infante Bosco
