This is one of my favorite books by this author I loved the mystery aspect of this book Rhetta is a private detective which I find very interesting She travels with her adopted son to Holiday Oregon searching for the man a Senator has claimed killed his only child Rhetta is after than finding this man she is searching for the truth which her client has been less than willing to tell her Rowan has been running for years but has finally found a home and community in the town of Holiday And we see just how much the people of Holiday consider him a friend they will stand by This is a romance book obviously but I loved the intrigue the mystery the search for truth and the ultimate outcome 158 Wonderful heartwarming addition to the series by Shanna Hatfield. Book dreams for courage and courage Rhetta is a private investigator n Chicago She has been requested to go to Cincinnati to meet with a Senator about a possible job Lee is her young assistant who was homeless until she took him in Rowan is fairly new to Holiday and believes he s destined to remain single for life After weeks of searching he expects for his life to change but isn t sure how much or in what way it will change Rhetta is convinced that Rowan is innocent but she has to do her job She didn t expect to fall in love with Rowan Will she have to see him hauled away for murder Holiday is a wonderful place and she wants to stay but what will she do 158 Rowan and Rhetta prove to be a daunting couple First is Rowan running for his live for a murder he didn t commit Enter Rhetta who is a self employed private eye She decides to take a case for a Senator in the so called murder of his son Rowan who is the senator s illegitimate son supposedly is the killer This venture takes Rhetta and her son Lee over many states in search of the killer The adventures and later dangers are not to be denied in her job How will they fare and is Rowan truly guilty of this or is it just trumped up by a vengeful crooked man packed full of characters you couldn t help but want to know and a read that will keep your attention from cover to cover 158

The courage to dream The novella opens with private detective Rhetta Wallace and her adopted by agreement only son Lee who are hired under false pretenses to find Reed The story quickly captivates with an intriguing investigation involving a morally dubious senator his illegitimate son and a mysterious murder Shanna s storytelling immediately draws you into this suspenseful yet heartwarming plot. The color of courage dvd Tiny breadcrumbs about Rowan Reed were left in the first two books Dreams of Love and Dreams with Faith and he finally takes a central role in this story His journey is compelling and the way the community rallies around him is truly heartwarming The novella beautifully highlights the strength of community and the power of standing up for what is right. Picture books on courage Rowan buys a run down ranch in Holiday OR and is putting down roots He sticks to himself but he does have good friends in town When Rhetta shows up asking questions he doesn t want to run again He wants to stay and fight for the life and ranch that he is building He and Rhetta and several townspeople work together to bring the truth to light This is a great book I found myself chuckling through many parts The sparks between Rhetta and Rowan are great I highly recommend the series that allows you to know all of the characters 158 Dreams for Courage was such a unique story I loved the pace the characters backgrounds the mystery surrounding the plot the sweet romance just everything This is my favorite story from this series and I think it s all thanks to its main characters Rhetta was a breath of fresh air as a heroine with an unlikely profession private detective It was so cool following her on her errands to get the job done and I loved her search for justice and truth as well And her relationship with Lee It was the sweetest thing It had me at times teary eyed or others simply laughing at his antics They surely have a special bond As for Rowan wow Talk about a mysterious character I was intrigued by him ever since we got to know him in book 1 when Dillon described him as a fellow who kept to himself but didn t cause trouble Then things got even interesting after he set the Pastor straight on his failed attempt at matchmaking in the second book but I never could have imagined what all his past entailed My heart definitely went out to him and all he had been through That s why I loved his interactions with Rhetta and how she touched a hidden place in his heart that hadn t hoped for in a while Their attraction was instant from their meet cute but I loved the depth and understanding in their relationship And as always the kisses were worth the wait Truly you can never go wrong with a Shanna Hatfield Historical Romance and this one isn t the exception Completely recommended 5 stars.
